All that stands between you and victory is the towering ogre staring you down, drooling and looking at you as his next meal. What do you do? Roll Initiative!

This Wednesday is Grassroots Night on Fair Tax Time Radio, with our special guest: YOU ! If you will be attending a Fair Tax event soon or would like to plan one, we’d like to hear about it. The idea is to help others get involved in the Fair Tax movement in a fun way.
If you have attended a Fair Tax event that was memorable, please share with our audience what made the event special. We’d like to hear your ideas for new ways to promote. When the Fair Tax finally happens, it will have been because of people like YOU, not those in Congress, as we are well aware that Congress won’t turn over the power of the purse strings to us until we make them do it.
Fair Tax Time is brought to you commercial free each Wednesday evening, 6PM Pacific time, 9PM Eastern, by the host John Wesley Nobles. You may listen on your computer or on your phone. Dial (619) 393-6478 or, if you’re charged for long disance, use our toll-free line: (888) 436-1206. Just follow instructions when the nice British lady answers.

Anyone who watched the 2008 Democratic presidential primary debates could see how the corporate media decides who is a viable candidate. Former US Senator Mike Gravel was the only candidate willing to say what he actually thinks rather than pander to voters, and he was shut down by the debate moderator on the few occasions when he was actually allowed to respond to questions.
Gravel ran in part to publicize his effort to pass his National Citizens Democracy Initiative, designed to create a national referendum and other provisions to give citizens a voice in their government. He joins us on Taking Back America to talk about how we can take back America for the People.
This show was rebroadcast on May 17 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST on the Star Com Radio network.
Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to inform the American public on true costs of corporate control of the US government.

People who love Florida's beaches and springs are sounding the alarm because the state's water resources need much more TLC than they are getting. Talkupy with Annie Lindstrom welcomes Ruth and John Scott of the Clean Water Initiative of FLorida (CWIFL) to the show on Tuesday, May 27 at 11 a.m. ET to talk about protecting and restoring the state's waterways.
CWIFL is a water advocacy group created to help educate the public, raise awareness and effect critical policy related to Florida's waters. We will discuss topics at the forefront of CWIFL's current advocacy efforts including Lake Okeechobee, springs in distress, and oil drilling and acid fracking in and around Florida's Everglades, Panther Refuge and Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.
In addition to getting up-to-date information on these concerns, listeners who tune in to the show will learn how to get involved at a grass-roots level to help bring about meaningful change. For more information go to CWIFL on Facebook or twitter.
Listen to teachers explain the problems they see with Common Core along with parents upset about the effects on their children. Hear why Common Core is turning education upside down. Let's face the facts that this is a federal intrusion and when parents and teachers can no longer help a child then it is time to stop calling it education as it will lead to indoctrination among other things. Hear parents and teachers fighting for America's future and the future of those they hold dearest in their own homes. There are lessons to be learned from the past and the present. No one that loves children can sit on the sidelines and allow a system to beat up a child inside the mind and Common Core does exactly that to the point that one child psychiatrist calls it "cognitive abuse" and there is even now a mental health problem known as the "common core syndrome". The Obama administration is proving to be dangerous for this country as we have seen by the wrong actions with Benghazi-gate, Bergdahl-gate, Obamacare and now ObamaCore or Common Core (that David Axelrod proudly calls an Obama Initiative) . Time to put a halt to it and it starts with understanding--hear from those affected.
