Todd began his trading career in 1980 at the Chicago Board of Options Exchange. He traded in many pits including BMY, IBM, and many other equities. Todd was one of the original traders in the OEX and is a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exhange.
Todd then continued to trade electronically while developing other businesses including manufacturing and marketing products for chain stores: Walmart, Sears and many others.
From 2002 – present day, Todd is a member of Chicago Board of Trade.
He joined CWS trading in 2004 as managing director and CFO. CWS is a boutique proprietary trading firm that specializes in index, futures, options and spreading. Todd Bubba Horwitz was recently honored as the opening bell ringer at the New York Stock Exchange. www.averagejoeoptions.com

Our guest on this episode will be film maker Bob Hurst and we will be discussing his new documentary "The Listeners - A Film About Suicide Prevention" which follows volunteers who learn to use empathy and skills as they counsel crisis and suicide hotline callers.
Bob Hurst is a filmmaker with more than 20 years of experience in film, television and related media. His work includes fiction, documentary and experimental films that have been exhibited at festivals nationally and internationally. He has also collaborated with filmmakers as sound supervisor and camera operator on many films, including King Corn (2007), Kansas vs. Darwin (2007), The Only Good Indian (2009), Destination: Planet Negro (2014). These films and others have been shown on national cable networks like Showtime and Starz, and on the PBS television program Independent Lens. Bob has contributed to permanent installation works at the African Burial Ground National Monument in New York and the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Film and Media Studies at the University of Kansas who works with a great and inspiring bunch of colleagues with and whom he's also collaborated on films - including Madison Davis Lacy, who executive-produced Paris is Burning and Eyes on the Prize II while at WNYC; and Kevin Willmott, who is co-writing Spike Lee's new film, Chiraq.
