For this show, I plan to talk about what is trending on Facebook and Twitter. If time, I will take in call, (if any) to talk about anything that's on their minds. I will also be talking about what has been happening with me and tell you more about me and this station. I just became a Trekkie, so I might be throwing in a bit of Star Trek reference. Forgive me if I can't spell anything in here correctly, this section of inputing alpha-numaric sentances does not have auto-correct.
So here is what will happen in order....
1: I will talk about me and about the station.
2: I will talk about trending topics on Facebook and Twitter (at the current time).
3: I will take in calls if anyone is listening.
4: I will give a thought of the evening
I hope you will enjoy listening to Gender Chat on Blog Talk Radio, and I hope to hear your views and ideas. Details are on the station/channel/profile page.

Today, Sawyerr Speaks tackles the subject of gender equality, and exactly how far we have come in 2014.
Sawyerr Speaks gives us a powerful young vibe, as hosts Chinyere and 17-year old spoken word phenom, Hannah Sawyerr speak out on the issues that are important to today's teens and young adults..

Join us this week as we explore fairness and equality in America. Tom Brady and the Chicago based Jackie Robinson team - is there a difference? Join the discourse of our first segment as we compare and contrast these similar, yet dissimilar scenarios. Atlanta teachers and the Wallstreet magicians...what similarities and differences occured? Were the punishments just?
For our second segment, we are going to explore the topic of Kinesics (The study and interpretation of body language and gestures). We are going to revisit Mr. Brady's situation - but under the lens of kinesic. What does his body language say about his answers.
On Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court heard the oral arguments of United States v. Windsor, having heard Hollingsworth v. Perry the preceding day, which resulted later in the year, the overturning of DOMA (the Defense of Marriage Act) and the upholding of the unconstitutionality of California's Proposition 8. Also on March 27tth of 2013, throughout the United States communities rallied in support of Marriage Equality, on which day almost 1,000 people gathered across the street from Palm Springs City Hall. Nicholas Snow was on hand at the event, and to add historical context to the cases before the Supreme Court now, presents an encore of the speeches given that day.

In this episode, I will talk about the lazy partners that some people deal with.

the revolution of the mind continues...
Amazon recently declared that children's toys will no longer be separated by gender. No more trucks for boys or dolls for girls... Everyone plays with everything.
Which led us into a debate...
Are gender role assignments crucial to mental health and stability... Especially in communities of color?
Are gender "roles" even fair? Shouldn't everyone assume whatever "role" they must to ensure life liberty and happiness? Or are these "roles" the very glue that binds our society?
In 2015, do gender roles still exist?
Are there times when a man or woman should "know their place?"
Are men the only ones who should propose marriage? Is it socially acceptable for a woman to propose? What do you think if you see a woman on her knees proposing to her man?
Tune in tonight to see if a woman should know her place!
Also, CEE'S BACK!!! CALCULUS IS OVER - just in time for gender wars with Logic! Should be fun!!

The TalentCulture #TChat Show will be live from the IT@Cork European Technology Summit in Cork, Ireland on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, from 6-7pm GMT (1-2pm ET, 10-11am PT).
Last week we talked about how to amaze every customer every time, and this week we're going to talk about impact of gender diversity on technology business performance around the world.
A University of Cambridge study has observed that Ireland is fifth in the world for female economic power, ranking just behind Australia, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
Overall the state of women in tech and business isn’t great, but academic institutions are now seeing companies and STEM-based industries develop diverse talent pools that improve business performance.
Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we welcome our special guests from the IT@Cork European Technology Summit: David Parry-Jones, VP UKI Vmware; Caroline O’Driscoll, Tax Partner at KPMG, Vice Chair of IT@cork; and Michael Loftus, Head of Faculty of Engineering & Science at CIT.
Thank you to all our TalentCulture sponsors and partners: Dice, Jibe, TalentWise, Hootsuite, IBM, CareerBuilder, PeopleFluent, PAW and HRmarketer Insight. Plus, we're big CandE supporters!
