For this show, I plan to talk about what is trending on Facebook and Twitter. If time, I will take in call, (if any) to talk about anything that's on their minds. I will also be talking about what has been happening with me and tell you more about me and this station. I just became a Trekkie, so I might be throwing in a bit of Star Trek reference. Forgive me if I can't spell anything in here correctly, this section of inputing alpha-numaric sentances does not have auto-correct.
So here is what will happen in order....
1: I will talk about me and about the station.
2: I will talk about trending topics on Facebook and Twitter (at the current time).
3: I will take in calls if anyone is listening.
4: I will give a thought of the evening
I hope you will enjoy listening to Gender Chat on Blog Talk Radio, and I hope to hear your views and ideas. Details are on the station/channel/profile page.

Today, Sawyerr Speaks tackles the subject of gender equality, and exactly how far we have come in 2014.
Sawyerr Speaks gives us a powerful young vibe, as hosts Chinyere and 17-year old spoken word phenom, Hannah Sawyerr speak out on the issues that are important to today's teens and young adults..
Hannah Sawyerr took the world of BlogTalkRadio by storm back in March of 2013, and looks to continue to build on her gift of the spoken word.
You can check out her lyrics for yourself by listening to Sawyerr Speaks, right here on the King James Radio Network.

That's Sunday, June 29nd, 2014 at 11:30AM (ET)/8:30 (PT)! on Equality Updates with Marcinho Savant! I find it baffling that human beings are unable, and unwilling, to remember to love one another, and to "do unto others, as we would have them do unto us", in today's world.
And, as usual, we welcome your calls, thoughts, and opinions! Be sure to call in at : (760) 283-5125!!!
Join us! That's today, 6/29/14, at 11:30AM (ET)/8:30 (PT)! Exclusively on #blogtalkradio!
Transgender is becoming more understood in our culture. Or at least, it's more recognized. But that's the problem, it isn't understood. I spoke with Erica Burns, a transgender female and Robert Lee, a gender-neutral person. That was a new one for me.
Erica's story is one you've heard before: She always knew she was born into the wrong body. About 9 months ago, at 23, she took action ... and hormones.
Robert goes by "he" because he was born into a male body, and he is comfortable with it. But it doesn't stop there. He is not a hermaphrodite. He calls himself "gender fluid." He says he is in the middle, choosing neither male nore female.
This show is guaranteed to be interesting!
On tonight's Taboo Thursday show we will be diverting from the usual topic and focus on gender roles. I have recently been seeing a lot of women proposing to their man and I am outraged. I believe if the woman wants to get married & has expressed this to their man & the man still doesn't ask her to be his wife, then he isn’t ready. Period. What kind of man who truly loves and adores his woman would even allow this shit to happen? At the end of the day it's about what a man will do for the love of his Queen and when you're truly in love with a woman, we all know yall men will do ANYTHING to make/keep her happy.
That being said, women stop tryna make shit work with men who simply are not shit.
This conversation sparked up quite the response from facebook so I want you all to call in tonight at 10 pm PST to talk about why or why not you agree with a woman proposing to a man.

Coming up on 12 years, my first political blog, Marry in Massachusetts, is going on hiatus. I'd long figured to shut it down when we had legal same-sex marriage nationwide. It's time.
I'll cover politics here, a bit in my personal blog, Harrumph, and at Left Ahead. In this show, I'll declare a victory for equality. This is the right kind of collateral damage from yesterday's SCOTUS decision.
I'll talk about that ruling and touch on the majority and dissenting views. I've already done basic analysis on it at Marry in Massachusetts. It's a relief with a tinge of sadness in saying goodbye to the familiar.

At last we have marriage equality in all 50 states!! Hooray!! It's time to celebrate!! But not everyone is so happy.
I gathered some awesome people who were kind enough to join me for an impromptu recording session. These people are the sauce of awesome. Even though a few people cut out and never came back, I'm so glad these people joined me.
Hugh Mann, the kindest person in the world, who could not be moved to berate the hate slung at him from the right.
K Renee Davis Pelt, the coolest person in Evansville, Indiana!
Ray Riley, who until this podcast recording was only a facebook friend and now has risen to the status of awesome.
Kelsey Hollis, a personal friend and seriously awesome person.
Kristen, the reason I spent three hours editing this show.
