Fr. Paul Wattson of Graymoor - Founder of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement

    in Religion

Rebroadcast of the long running radio program, "The Ave Maria Hour", a presentation of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. www.AtonementFriars.org

Timothy Cardinal Dolan of the Archdiocese of New York formally opened the Cause for Canonization of Servant of God Father Paul of Graymoor on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in New York City.  The Rev. Paul Wattson, SA, (1863-1940) was founder of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement and a champion of Christian unity and helping the poor.

The Cardinal issued a decree initiating the Cause for Canonization of Fr. Paul of Graymoor and named the various officials who will carry out the historical research, theological evaluation and the search for those who can testify to Father Paul’s reputation for holiness. The results will be presented to the Cardinal for his judgment, and there will be a formal closing ceremony of the diocesan process of the Cause. Once completed, the Archdiocese will forward its findings to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in Rome where the second phase, often called the “Roman” phase, will take place.

To honor Fr. Paul and to promote the vision of unity he promoted, we offer this episode of the Ave Maria Hour that tells his story.

    "Restoring the Order" #567

    in Spirituality

Have you ever experienced the thought, "How Did I Go wrong?"  The idea in this question is the realization that everything is not as I planned or thought or dreamt it would be; and, I don't like where I am.

Most people truly want order in their relationships, in business, certainly within themselves; most, however, experience various degrees of chaos, the exact opposite of what they want.

Today's message continues the general discussion of "Closing The Integrity Gap", that which exists between my perception of who I am and/or what I want and that which is being played out in my world.  We will begin to better understand just what I am creating in and through my life and why it doesn't seem to work.

Resistance to moving forward is a common characteristic in most people; it results in discomfort, even pain.  It comes from living within the confines and controls of established belief systems that may or may not have worked very well and yet, we are reluctant to change probably because we don't hurt enough and/or we are concerned about what a new belief system would mean or where it would lead.

My invitation to you today is to join me as we look at "Closing The Integrity gap by Restoring The Order."

In Short Order - Dr. Dan Pompa

    in Health

Dr. Pompa completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh in 1988 and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University’s College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia in 1995 where he graduated second in a class of 150. His journey back to health continued to lead him to a voracious passion to research and learning beyond what is often readily understood.

Even though Dr. Pompa no longer practices chiropractic, his understanding of cellular healing and his “5R Principles” as the “roadmap” to healing has lead to many requests to be a speaker at large chiropractic seminars to hundreds of professionals who learn of his detoxification program for neurotoxic conditions and other unexplainable illnesses. In 2004, spiritual leaders and health care practitioners hosted Dr. Pompa’s teachings on health and healing principles and the dangerous misuse of western medicine in Zimbabwe, South Africa.

Dr. Pompa has established his coaching and teaching on a firm and proven conviction that the crisis of modern-day allopathic medicine is the sad result of physicians chasing symptoms with medication rather than addressing the root cause of disease. This even occurs within functional medicine.  His approach to getting to the “upstream cause” is what separates him from others in allopathic as well as functional medicine. His clients receive coaching based on the fact that God created the human body with the ability to heal itself when interferences such as heavy metal toxicity, poor nutrition, and subluxations (whether physical, emotional or chemical) are removed.

The most rewarding aspects of his career are the walking miracles seen in his office each day, the lives changed, and the minds renewed to God-guided principles of health and healing.
