Our guest will be Palomino Armstrong, who (along with her husband, Matt) is the angel who runs the CHILLY PEPPER - MIRACLE MUSTANG, that specializes in CRITICALLY ILL, NEO-NATAL, SICK AND/OR INJURED FOALS. They take care of the foals that are near death's door, needing literally 24/7 care, and live with them in the nursery until the foals are strong enough to live outside. They also rescue other injured or newborn orphan animals.
They're also training DaBubbles, a miniature horse who survived a mountain lion attack, to visit the sick, elderly, and best of all, kids who are in the hospital.
This radio show is co-hosted by Debbie Coffey, Vice-President & Director of Wild Horse Affairs at Wild Horse Freedom Federation and Marti Oakley, PPJ Gazette.
Tonight's guest is Ginger Kathrens, Director of The Cloud Foundation. On March 24, The Cloud Foundation received an anonymous tip that BLM had rounded up and removed 41 free-roaming horses from public lands in northern Wyoming. Further investigation revealed that BLM conducted a helicopter roundup of the horses and turned them over to the Wyoming Livestock Board who sold the horses directly to the Canadian Bouvry Slaughterouse. The taxpayer-funded roundup was conducted with no notice of sale after the horses were impounded, giving no one the opportunity to step in and negotiate a deal to purchase any of the horses. Even Bighorn County Sheriff, Kenneth Blackburn, was surprised that he received no notification of the roundup, which was conducted in his jurisdiction. The horses were driven to Shelby, Montana, to the Bouvry-owned feedlot, the jumping off point to their Canadian slaughterhouse, the largest slaughterhouse in Canada.
All but four foals were sold to a Canadian slaughterhouse. The foals were purchased from Worland Livestock Auction by Kim Michels. The Cloud Foundation transported these foals, all between 3 and 12 weeks old, to Colorado where they are now under the expert care of Dr. Lisa Jacobson, DVM. They require special nutrition and socialization as they acclimate to their new environment.
The foals, known as the Dry Creek Quartet, are:
Hey all, Antonius Block here with another installment of RADIO ULNA! This week's show is brought to you by the letter X, because sometimes you have to solve for it. Anyway, since we're at the halfway point in a fantastic year of music, I've put together a few of the tracks that really stood out. You'll see some new tunes by a few artists I've squirreled away for my personal listening pleasure and you'll see some familiar tracks that I've highlighted in previous shows. Either way, this list in totally not inclusive of all the great music that's been put out this year. Yeah, there's no Daft Punk or Justin Timberlake, but that's fine -- you've already heard those songs. I'd like to consider this a nice medium swath of tunes that you may not have heard. Regardless, I look forward to narrating a bit more of your time in the upcoming year. If it's anything like the last 6 months, we're going to be in for a few auditory treats.
Thanks for tuning in, - A.B.

TONIGHT on our show: Shirley Puga, America's Equine Angel.
EVERY 15 Minutes an American HORSE is slaughtered on foreign ground, for HUMAN CONSUMPTION. Every Day 18 Veteran's kill themselves.
2,400 people go missing in America every day!!!
What do Horses have to do with this? Come and find out!!!
Every year over 100,000 American Horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, are slaughtered on foreign Land for Human consumption. 92% of these equine are sound and healthy horses. Horses that have served a purpose, and no longer have a job. Some of these horses are thrown down into the slaughter Pipline, because they are not fast enough on a race track, they are older and cannot have foals any more, and even some of the babies are slaughtered because they are a by-product of the PMU Industry.
TONIGHT, as hard it is, we find that we need to educate AMERICA about the SLAUGHTER industry, due to the new law changes in America. Did you know that it is now legal to slaughter horses in AMERICA for HUMAN CONSUMPTION?
Shirley Puga, will explain why this practice will prove to be detrimental not only to the equine, but to the very people that will begin to consume the horse meat. American Horses are not raised for Human consumption, and the medicines, vacination's, wormer's and sterriods given to these horses could prove to be a health EPIDEMIC when consumed by Humans.
Also Shirley will educate the masses on how the secret world of Slaughter is performed, and how we as America can STOP IT.
We can utilize these horses in helping out Patriots to heal from PTSD, train them to assist in physical therapy for our patriots;train them to find missing persons, seek out explosives, bombs, and so much more.
WHAT ARE THE SOLUTIONS TO THIS MASACRE?
JOIN US, HELP US, and let's help save the AMERICAN ICON... Our beloved Equine.

Join Co-hosts Gabriella Castillo and Christianna Capra for a discussion on the BLM Wild Horse Roundups and Horse Slaughter Legislation. Our guests this month are Simone Netherlands (www.respect4horses.com) who is a advocate for horses and their well-being. Also joining us is Rob Pliskin, an EAGALA practitioner and a BLM Volunteer "horse gentler" who can clearly see that the BLM is not playing fair when it comes to the massive increase in Wild Horse Roundups this past year.
Well over 100,000 of our American Horses (wild and domestic) are currently exported to Canada and Mexico to be slaughtered for their meat and sold as a delicacy overseas. In 2010 the European Union (EU) is instating new rules relating to the food safety of horse meat for human consumption. They have established that horse meat contains unhealthy amounts of carcinogenic drugs that horses receive very commonly (such as the painkiller bute).
People don’t have horse problems. Oh no. Horses have people problems. And our wild horses have people problems too, with the govt that is supposed to protect them. We can ask important data based questions about this. Like, why did the BLM take away over 19 million acres of wild horse areas and let even more cows and sheep back on some of them, but no horses? Or, why did our BLM management team have to kill 79 wild horses and cause 39 mares to abort their foals in the recent Calico Complex roundup, and pay a contractor over 697 thousand dollars of YOUR money to help them do it?
JOIN US, Sunday, May 16th to find out more - and how you can be a voice to stop the insanity!
To date at least 22 horses (mares, foals and stallions) have died in this massive wintertime roundup.
Last week a Calico colt was euthanized after his hooves were separating from the bone after being rounded up with his family, by helicopter and potentially traveling over 14 miles of volcanic rock, rough ground, ice and snow.
Horrific stories like this are becoming mush too common. I want to focus on what we CAN do to stop this. Please join us for this insightful hour
