From Judith Yates examiner article:
"This is the horror experienced by Bry and Jeanne Brykalski after Jeanne’s parents were murdered in 1995.
On the night of February 4 1995, two teens and a 20-year-old man, all with criminal histories, randomly selected a Knoxville, Tennessee house for burglary. When homeowners Les and Carol Dotts came home from their Sunday night dinner one of the thieves pulled a gun. Les was a self-employed WWII veteran. He was shot five times. Carol, who helped homeless animals find good homes, was shot seven times to include an executional-style shot to the head. Bry found his in-laws dead, the house ransacked.
The killers were caught and sentenced. Still, the horror never stops for the Brykalskis. “My husband and I are now an acronym: MVS. A Murder Victims Survivor,” Jeanne explains. “When one becomes a MVS your life changes forever in ways you never could imagine.”
What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend than to learn some of the history behind the phrase "Constitutional Convention", as it has been, and continues to be, applied to describe the Constitution's Article V State authorized amending mode, a "convention for proposing amendments"?
We'll spend some time referencing multiple original source documents from hundreds of Article V State applications for an amending convention, asking the questions why, and how, the description was changed to "Constitutional Convention", and begin discussion of the implications of this change in nomenclature.
We'll spend a little bit of time with Convention of States news first. And save some time for phone calls.
"That Provident Article" is hosted by Convention of States Texas volunteer Paul Hodson, with the Convention of States since late 2013, a District Captain in Texas from February 2014 through November 2015, and now serving as Co-Director for the Convention of States Texas.

Out of all the unexplained mysteries in the world this one is one of the strangest. The Dyatlov Pass incident was an event that resulted in the deaths of nine hikers in the northern Ural Mountains on the night of February 2, 1959.
Investigators determined that the skiers had torn their tents from the inside out in order to escape from an apparent threat. They fled the campsite, some of them barefoot, under heavy snowfall. Although the bodies showed no signs of struggle, such as contusions, two victims had fractured skulls and broken ribs. Soviet authorities determined that an "unknown compelling force" had caused the deaths. Due to the lack of survivors, the chronology of events remains uncertain, although several theories exist, some involving a possible avalanche, a military accident, or a hostile encounter with extraterrestrial life. What really happened during to the skiers that night?
Anthony and Luci will try and reach out and communicate with the hikers on the spirit box and hope to receive some answers.Join us as we embark on what will be an amazing experience for everyone!

In February 2014, Aspen socialite Nancy Pfister was murdered in her own home—brutally bludgeoned, wrapped in a sheet, and stuffed inside a locked closet.
Fewer than twelve hours after her body was found and without any evidence, police decided a married couple from Denver had killed her. Within a few days, they arrested and charged Nancy Styler, a friend of Pfister’s who’d had a falling out with her after a business deal went sour, and Dr. Trey Styler, Nancy’s disabled husband, who recently lost the family home, his medical practice, and any hope of a peaceful retirement for himself and his wife. Eleven days later, police also arrested and charged Kathy Carpenter, Pfister’s underpaid and overworked personal assistant and closest friend.
Months later, Trey Styler, who was slowly losing his grip on reality as he battled with mental illness, confessed to the crime. Rampant speculation spread about whether he was involved at all—or if his confession was that of a man on his deathbed—because a medical condition appeared to have left him barely able to walk, much less carry out such a heinous crime. And, in the only interview before his death, Trey gives his account of that fateful day.
New York Times bestselling author Daleen Berry covers this compelling story from the inside, following the Stylers from their fairy-tale life in Denver to the morning of their simultaneous arrest to Nancy’s release from jail and her attempts to rebuild her shattered life.
