The world of the paranormal became normal in Donna’s life due to a serious of experiences she had when she was in her twenties.  She learned to accept this intriguing, fascinating environment of new knowledge by taking classes and becoming involved in activities that developed her mind skills. After years of public work, teaching classes, working as an assistant minister she was ordained as a Spiritualist minister.

It was in the early 1980’s that Donna and her family moved to the Pacific Northwest. She was invited to appear on a local radio station to demonstrate her skills of mind and the positive impact was so great she ended up being a local media personality.  Record numbers of callers would consistently jam the telephone lines. Her non-sensational approach continues, even today, to fascinate and delight her listening and viewing audiences.  She is repeatedly asked to come back for additional appearances.

Through the years Donna hosted her own television and radio programs but in 2001 a long time dream of having a daily radio show came true. Today her programming is heard around the world via the Internet reaching unlimited amounts of people, something that modern technology has made possible. Laurie Beth Jones & Dr. Andrew Dobo "Unburdening Souls at the Speed of Thought"

    in Spirituality

“Unburdening Souls at the Speed of Thought” is about the transformative journey to wholeness that was modeled by Christ and is accelerated by a ground-breaking therapy known as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

The process described in psychologist Dr. Andrew J. Dobo’s book occurs in six stages, which are mirrored by six moments Christ modeled in his Passion. Psychology and religion collide in the book’s incredible tales, which move from despair to hope, hate to love, and fear to contentment. This is a book that will give hope to those suffering mental anguish as they are exposed to a new map of the soul modeled by Christ and shared by psychology. It shows how survivors of trauma can heal and overcome negative beliefs about themselves. It’s for those who want to better understand the workings of the soul and for those who do not even imagine such a thing exists. And it will fascinate any reader interested in the power of the mind.

Dr. Andrew Dobo was first trained in the use of EMDR more than 14 years ago. He has treated hundreds of patients and participated in literally thousands of EMDR sessions in his private psychology practice in Sebastian, Florida. He is a licensed psychologist in Florida.

    Illusions by Richard Bach

    in Self Help

"In the cloud-washed airspace between the cornfields of Illinois and blue infinity, a man puts his faith in the propeller of his biplane. For disillusioned writer and itinerant barnstormer Richard Bach, belief is as real as a full tank of gas and sparks firing in the cylinders ...until he meets Donald Shimoda - former mechanic and self-described messiah who can make wrenches fly and Richard's imagination soar...In Illusions, the unforgettable follow-up to his phenomenal New York Times bestseller Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Richard Bach takes to the air to discover the ageless truths that give our souls wings: that people don't need airplanes to soar ...that even the darkest clouds have meaning once we lift ourselves above them ...and that messiahs can be found in the unlikeliest places - like hay fields, one-traffic-light midwestern towns, and most of all, deep within ourselves."

Published in 1977, this book has continued to entertain, fascinate and educate readers throughout the decades.  Join us for a discussion of Illusions by Richard Bach.

LIVE! with Cathi-The POWER of LETTERS!

    in Fitness

Letters/Missives that move us, shake us and sometimes alteer the course of history!

Oh, the power of letters.  They've fueled love affairs, severed friendships, ignited wars and settled them.  Letters can convey the most profound thanks, apology or regret.  Sometimes they contain world-altering ideas such as Albert Einstein's 1939 letter to President FDR urging him to start a nuclear war.  Einstein later said he regretted sending that letter to FDR.

Whatever th content of the letter, it's not just the words that give letters their power, it's the emotional connection.  Johnny Cash was still writing love letters to June, his wife late in life...he wrote "You still fascinate and inspire me!"

    Letters, tangible proof of relationships...etc.

    Letters have POWER...etc.

You don't have to be famous to...etc.

    Letters inspire more...etc.

    Take time to write...etc.
