Remember your first time? We do! Join us as we interview authors just beginning their literary journey into publication. It doesn't matter how their book is published; self-publication, independent, or traditional publishing house, the world agrees becoming a published author is a big step. We want to celebrate and spotlight these authors whose words were brought into the hands of readers. Listen in as they talk about their new experiences. Being published is an intoxicating dream…a dream these authors are living. Join us in jubilation for those who are . . . Freshly Booked!
This week’s Featured Author is . . . Leslie Campbell
Leslie Campbell is a thirty-five-year-old writer living in Suffolk County, NY. In addition to writing novels and short stories, she loves to write poetry, and songs as well. She wrote her first novel (unpublished) at the age of thirteen, and while planning on coming back to her love of written word in her twenties, lost herself in the shuffle of Administrative jobs, and found little time to write once she returned to school, where she received her Associate degree in Graphic Design. Leslie's genres currently range between Romance and Erotica. Her first series of novels will be dedicated to short stories about office romance that lend themselves to sexual fantasy

In the now famous research from The China Study, co-authored by father-son duo T. Colin Campbell, PhD, and Thomas Campbell, MD, we learned that a whole-food, plant-based diet is linked to lower rates of chronic disease. The groundbreaking results (published in 2005) revealed the optimal diet: A diet comprised of fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains with minimal to no meat, dairy and processed food is the most powerful action you can take to lose weight, prevent disease, and feel better overall. In his new book - THE CAMPBELL PLAN: The Simple Way to Lose Weight and Reverse Illness, Using The China Study's Whole-Food, Plant-Based Diet, Dr. Thomas Campbell shows readers how to make the transition to a plant-based diet with practical guidance and a simple plan to make a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle easy and sustainable. Dr. Campbell joins us on this episode of The Fitness Buff Show.
