Carson's Corner with the Election Boycott Advocates.

    in Politics Progressive

Carson's Corner with the Election Boycott Advocates returns this Sunday night for a discussion on the plight of the American worker, capitalism as an economic system, and the electoral system.  Are there alternatives to capitalism that we should be exploring? What does capitalism and the electoral system have in store for workers across America?

Plus, the Election Boycott Advocates have found and ally in the Greanville Post. In addition to covering the Election Boycott Advocates on Carson's Corner, the Greanville Post have provided guests that have shared a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion as it pertains to the issues facing the working class, both in America and abroad. We may be lucky enough to be joined by J. Perry Miller for a discussion on socialism. Check out Miller's bio from the post below.

JP Miller is a writer and journalist who has published in The Greanville Post, Cyrano’s Journal, Pravda, Uncommonthought, Countercurrents, The Literary Post and The Southern Cross Review. It's 2015, and the march towards the emancipation of the American working class continues. The Election Boycott Advocates believe that the fight to emancipate American workers starts with boycotting the election system all together, as workers cannot work within  a system designed to perserve the status quo. 2015 will only further illustrate that the American working class has no stake in any election whatsover, as the billionaires have chosen their candidates (all of whom have been around political/capitalist institutes for life) to represent their interests and serve their needs. As the oppression of capitalism  continues to get worse, American workers will have no choice but to hit the street and bring democracy to an otherwise undemocratic system.

Join the Election Boycott Advocates on Carson's Corner as they try to elevate the consciousness by spreading non compliance. We will discuss the very issues that the corporate media does not want you to hear. For example, is there an alternative to capitalism, such as a radical form of social democracy, that can produce a more equal society? From a boycotters' perspective, what will 2015 mean?

  • Carson's Corner: The Election Boycott Advocates.

    in Politics Progressive

On the last Carson's Corner on 2014, the Election Boycott Advocates welcome Jill Dalton to the show to discuss the biggest political events of 2014. Dalton, who is the author of the eBook, "Is It Fascism Yet ?", has been writing for non-corporate media outlets, such as Dandelion Salad, OpEdNews, RSN, NationofChange, for many years. Jill has been one of the few reporters who have questioned whether or not voting really matters in America.

Will 2015 be a year marked by the billionaire ruling class or will the workers continue to rise up in the face of the deteriorating conditions of capitalism?  Will elections and the state continue to lose legitimacy in the eyes of the working class? Tune in to hear a discussion you will hear few places elsewhere.

Here is Jill Dalton’s bio: Jill Dalton is a writer/actress/army brat/activist/truth teller. She can be seen in and consulted for William Hurt on the HBO film, Too Big To Fail, about the global financial meltdown. Her articles have appeared @ Dandelion Salad, OpEdNews, RSN, NationofChange. Her eBook, Is It Fascism Yet? is available on amazon.com. Her play, Collateral Damage, was a semi finalist at the 2014 O’Neill Playwrights Conference.

Carson's Corner: The Election Boycott Advocates.

    in Politics Progressive

Almost another year in the books, and the oppression of the American worker continues to get worse. From phony billionaire-owned elections, a us-backed fascist coup in Ukraine, to an out-of-control militarized police force that seeks to perserve the privilege of the ruling class, the workers in America have been forced to engage in non-compliance. Non-compliance already exists in our society in the form of the non-voter. However, we are starting to see the beginnings of a mass response from the oppressed.

Join the Election Boycott Advocates as they recap some of the year's events, as well what we in the working class have to look forward in 2015.

Carson's Corner: The Election Boycott Advocates.

    in Politics Progressive

It's Sunday, and it's time for the Election Boycott Advocates to appear on Carson's Corner. Last week after a great discussion on the origins of socialism and social democracies, the Election Boycott Advocates welcome Harry Cason, member/supporter of the Zeitgeist Movement to the show. We will discuss our vision for the future of America and the current issues that face working class Americans- or better yet, the very system that oppresses all of us. How do we overturn that system? What do we put in its place? We will attempt to answer all these questions and more.

Carson's Corner: The Election Boycott Advocates.

    in Politics Progressive

The Election Boycott Advocates welcome a very special guest to the show. Deputy Editor at the Greanville Post, Alya Rea, joins the show to discuss the relationship between the United States, Russia and Ukraine.

The Following is Rea's bio from the Greanville Post:

Alevtina Rea is a researcher, analyst and writer and a strong supporter of social justice and human rights. For 7 years (2005 – 2012), she worked as an assistant editor with CounterPunch, a leading left political journal in the Anglophone world that exemplifies, along with The Greanville Post and a small cluster of sites, what an oppositional press should be like. She believes that “the role of the media is to educate, inform and shed light where there is none” in order to counter state-sponsored propaganda. Given the appalling criminality and atrocities committed by Western imperialism around the world, she believes that Russia—by opposing such power, and by her growing cooperation with Latin American and Asian countries— offers a new hope to humanity. Ms. Rea is also a contributing author to CounterPunch, Cyrano’s Journal Today, Uncommon Thought Journal,  and the International Journal of Baudrillard Studies. She can be reached at rea.alya@gmail.com.
