Join your host Alex Matsuo as she interviews Bill Wilkens, the founder of the website, Paranormal Societies, which has been a breakthrough in connecting clients with paranormal teams.
Bill Wilkens started ParanormalSocieties.com in the fall of 2007 as a way to increase exposure for paranormal groups. Realizing that paranormal investigators were difficult to locate, he hoped that by creating this directory it would allow people who needed help to quickly locate a team that could assist them.
Since the site's inception, Bill has dealt with thousands of paranormal investigators and specialists, and has received approximately 5,000 requests for assistance from those that believe they are experiencing paranormal phenomena. He sends the cases that he is unable to help to local, qualified investigators or specialists, depending on the details of the case. He currently operates a Twitter account (@Paranormallist) where he posts requests for assistance so local groups can get involved.
Having dealt directly with thousands of investigators and thousands of cases through the years, he has been able to identify trends in behavior and tendencies from both the investigator's and victim's standpoint. Rather than rely on opinion, he has seen what works and what does not and looks to share those experiences so others can learn from them as well.
ParanormalSocieties.com currently lists approximately 3,000 paranormal teams from across the US. The directory also lists international teams as well, with countries such as Canada, England, India, Japan, and New Zealand, among others, currently represented.

Join your host Alex Matsuo as she welcomes back guest favorite Robin Bellamy for a discussion about the illustrious Mothman. With the Mothman Festival in just a short ways away, Alex and Robin will discuss the original sightings, the Silver Bridge collapse, what Mothman is, and how Mothman changed the lives of not only the people of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, but also the world.
Robin was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia in the early 1960's and lived for many years in nearby Ravenswood. The child of a Republican Dad and a Democrat Mom, Robin learned early that there are many sides to every issue. She approaches her research the same way.
Robin found herself living in Toronto, Canada in 2000. Through a series of unusual events, she became a member of Toronto Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society and added paranormal research to her resume. Since leaving that group in 2012 she continues to consult with film, television, and other media writers. In addition to professional pursuits, Robin is the primary blogger for CFZ-Canada.
Robin's publications can be found at www.amazon.com. She has appeared on SyFy Investigates, Freak Encounters, and many other shows and podcasts, including the Canadian documentary “30 Ghosts” and as part of the press junket for the film “White Noise”. She does script and technical consulting, and speaks often at seminars and festivals as well as college campuses.
Robin is currently working on Xenoforensics, a guidebook for using forensic science in paranormal research. Her next appearance is at the Mothman Festival and ParAmeriCon in September and Angles and Aliens in October.

The Wicked Domain will encompass the paranormal topics that are a bit on the darker and edgier side. Topics will include demonology, Voodoo/Hoodoo, Santeria, just to name a few. I would also like to revisit and discuss old cases and haunted locations such as Vallisca Axe Murder House, Lizzie Borden, just to name a few. It is also a show where guests can have a venue and talk about their theories about the paranormal and why we have the experiences that we do. This is based on my own belief that paranormal experiences are not coincidences. Combined with theory, history, legend, folklore, with a touch of the darker side, Wicked Domain.
