I can't take it anymore these jobs treat good people like shit. Did you see that 20/20 on truck drivers. If you missed it was another story about how manipulative people in this case the dispatchers, put, tremendous pressure on truck drivers to drive hours on end with little sleep. Un freaking real and if the drivers don't comply the dispatcher threatens to lower his wages. Real talk this goes on at almost everyplace of employment. This is just one of the games that gets played. It's time for us to take control. We must have ownership now we should go to bed everynight thinking about it
A conversation with Bill Stomp, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for DigitalDispatcher.com.
Bill explains the benefits of having a mobile workforce, which is also mobilized and highly productive.
There is a star that glows inside of each of us. It guides who we become, our integrity, and our purpose. It isn't how big your star is that is important, it is what you do with it. Civil Disobedience Is The American Way:
Fighting Injustice with New Forms of Peaceful Protest
From Trayvon Martin to Jordan Davis to Michael Brown to Eric Garner to DJ Henry. America has a problem. A race and gender problem. And sitting right in the bullseye are countless Black men, young and old victimized by police tactics that work against them in grand jury rulings and court house verdicts. We can no longer look the other way…Americans are finally saying ENOUGH to the senseless killings that are happening throughout the land.
Important details missing from a dispatcher’s call to police resulted in a 12 year old child being gunned down by a rookie cop in Cleveland. And a man with asthma desperately calling out “I can’t breathe” succumbed to a New York cop’s chokehold that finished his life forever.
Veteran diversity professional and former chair of the National Black MBA Association Bill Wells will discuss the direction of our country as we wrestle with police brutality and its fatal impact on Black men everywhere. And we’ll also look at the groundswell of peaceful protests around the country and the world that are waking us all up the the changes needed to fix the injustices so badly derailing our nation.

Tonight's special guest host is Barbara Ochoa from San Francisco, a returning NAASCA family member who has been with us several times. That's because Barbara (aka Petra Luna) has a special mission, one which we share with her here at NAASCA. Each year for the past three years, Barbara has produced a series of events celebrating what's become known as Male Abuse Awareness Week (MAAW -- the first week of December). Each year, recognizing that young males have an especially tough time even talking about being abused as kids, Barbara reaches out to this frequently undeserved group with videos, music events, dance and special guest appearances (Help4Guys.org). She encourages victims of abuse to seek help, justice and recovery through her music and nonprofit organization, the P.Luna Foundation. Barbara will be joined tonight by former police officer, Billy Walker, an abuse survivor who serves as a Board Member at Barbara's P. Luna Foundation. He has a BA in Political Science, a Masters Degree in Education and has worked as a police dispatcher, police officer, jailor, deputy sheriff, deputy coroner, prison counselor and parole officer. He's even worked security at the Olympics. "I served in law enforcement for 20 years," says Billy says. "Through my work in law enforcement I have seen the results of heinous acts perpetuated by adults upon children. I joined the P. Luna Foundation in 2005 because I wanted to help in making the world a better and safer place for children." Among other topics we'll be asking him for any safety tips he might have for males to stay safe and avoid predators. We'll also find out what Billy recommends what one should to do about it if one does become a victim.
Cops are the new Baby Killers - America's Department of Justice is starting to Target the Badges of bad cops.
When enough is enough. Darren Wilson says he'll do it again and would kill a kid and anybody else that looked like a "demon".
Cleveland police on Wednesday released the names of two officers involved in the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy who had a pellet gun, an incident that has touched off protests in the area. The officers were identified as 26-year-old Timothy Loehmann, who was appointed to the force this year, and 46-year-old Frank Garmback, who's been with the department since 2008.
Cleveland dispatcher never relays the word that the gun is a fake. The kid was pulling up his pants. A child was playing in a playground and the cops kills the kid, and its justified.
Truck Dispatch and Negotiations 101: If you've been a company driver or leased to a carrier, chances are you've had a dispatcher or load planner helping you. Now that you have your own authority, that job is yours! Many times there is someone at home that will try to fill that role, even if they are unfamiiar with the industry. We'll cover the very basics of how to dispatch a truck and negotiate a load. This episode will also benefit a spouse, significant other, or family member that may support you in your new venture.
