Scripture Text : Jonah 1:1-17
Jonah 2:1-10, Jonah 3:1-10, Jonah 4:1-11
Key Verses : Jonah 3:1-4
And the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying,
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the preaching that I bid thee.
So Jonah arose, and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
Ephesians Chapter 6
Kids Today. Kids should also listen to their parents. It's right there in the 10 Commandments. No breaking curfew or sneaking out the window when you're supposed to be grounded. But on the other hand, dads shouldn't abuse their power or try to purposely tick off their kids. They should be loving and understanding and help teach their little rugrats the proper way to behave. Same thing goes for slaves: obey your masters. Don't just follow orders when the master is watching, either. Do it all the time. Because God is always watching. It might help to think of yourself as a slave for Jesus. Don't just listen and obey because some human master wants you to. Do it because God and Jesus want you to. After all, God sees all the good things you're doing and he will reward you for not being rebellious and disobedient. Okay, but masters aren't totally off the hook either. Christian slave owners have an obligation to treat their human property decently. Masters need to remember that everyone on Earth is a slave to God. Everyone has God for a master. As far as the Big Guy is concerned, there's no difference between slaves and their owners. They're all equal. In Heaven, of course. Onward Christian Soldiers. They need to put on (spiritual) armor to protect themselves from this crazy world and the devil who's running loose. Christians don't have to worry so much about flesh and blood people messing with them. It's institutions—like rulers and authorities—who can move society in a bad direction. In an evil direction. They need to put on armor so they can withstand the blows that are coming. Fasten the belt of truth and sport a breastplate of righteous. Put on shoes of peace and take a shield of faith with you. Slap on a helmet of salvation and swing the sword of the Spirit at the bad guys. He is in prison, after all. And that's the end. www.shmoop.com
What is Tu B'Shevat? And, how does it help us understand why God judges us?
"BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. [Rom. 13:8-10; Gal. 3:1-29; II Tim. 3:16.] And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. [Jer. 17:7, 8.] Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked [those disobedient and living without God] shall not stand [justified] in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God]. For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God's will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nought). (Psalm 1:1-6 AMP)
"Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]." Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:11-12 AMP)
It has been concluded by many that all people are immortal. They say that each person came into this world with an immortal soul, and this soul must continue to live for all eternity. They go on to say that since God has promised a reward to the obedient and a punishment to the disobedient, the immortality of the righteous will be spent in heaven, and the immortality of the sinners will be spent in hell.
Obedience can ask with boldness at the throne of grace. The disobedient person is timid in his approach and hesitant in his praying.
Such a person is stopped by his wrongdoing. The obedient child of GOD comes into the FATHER'S presence with confidence and
boldness. Obedience frees one one from the dread of acting disobediently and instead gives courage. He who has clean hands and
a pure heart can pray with confidence. Join us for live prayer at 6:00 AM, Mon.-Fri. Dial 714.459.3963.
Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, while it is said,
“Today if you hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”
For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.

7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

in The Bible
This is a message is of a new tune of peace coming on the earth, however for now there shall be no peace, as the arrival of the Kingdom of God/Heaven prevails against all evil. Therefore what is in your heart also do you know the biblical meaning of evil, wickedness and sin? The Lord speaks his heart and yet his judgement upon His people, the Lands and even the heathens for disobedient to His voice. Therefore let us examine the voice of the Lord to eventually discern evil, wickedness and sin. Yet the Lord complains with the Prophet Jeremiah they preach peace yet how can there be peace whilst there is disobedience to His voice. Therefore we shall examine is disobedience too. The Author never knows what to say until the time of speaking so come and listen to what the Lord has to say in due season. Amen.
Please be a part of this awesome and higher message beyond the human concept that only a messenger from the high throne of the Lord may bring, thus saith the Lord, ah Merciful Lord, we pray for your presence, uplift and guidance to only your supreme Holiness and Holy Name, our God of Truth and Peace. Amen.
