Scripture Text : Jonah 1:1-17
Jonah 2:1-10, Jonah 3:1-10, Jonah 4:1-11
Key Verses : Jonah 3:1-4
And the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying,
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the preaching that I bid thee.
So Jonah arose, and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
Three more states are on course to have their bans on same marriage struck down. A so called pastor is married to a woman but says he still is atracted to men. And a North Carolina town that couldn't afford to defend itself against a suit filed by a former US VETERAN was forced to remove a statue of a soldier kneeling before a cross and Christian flag. With Islamic psychos running rampant, why is America seemingly ramping up atacks against Christianity? Join us for Biblical analysis and truth.
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
(New Testament | 2 Peter 2:17)
23 And it came to pass that there arose a mist of darkness; yea, even an exceedingly great mist of darkness, insomuch that they who had commenced in the path did lose their way, that they wandered off and were lost.
24 And it came to pass that I beheld others pressing forward, and they came forth and caught hold of the end of the rod of iron; and they did press forward through the mist of darkness, clinging to the rod of iron, even until they did come forth and partake of the fruit of the tree.
(Book of Mormon | 1 Nephi 8:23–24)

1 King 13:23 And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.
24 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.
25 And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.
26 And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the Lord: therefore the Lord hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake unto him.
27 And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.
28 And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.
29 And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.
30 And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!
31 And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:
Why is the world so disobedient toward God's call? Carnita Smith will expose some Light on why, as the scripture speaks to the heart. As Christians we need to see the world as Jesus does. "In the world according to Jesus, judgment is coming. Tribulations is coming. Death, hell and eternity are ahead for those without Christ", David Jeremiah. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let him who hears say, Come! and let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires let him take the water of life freely. Rev 22:17
While here on earth, we must become Christ like. In order to reign with him we must be like him. We must pick up our cross and follow him. We must deny ourselves our most basic self serving instinct. The negative emotions that that causes us to feel justified, and validated. Emotions like revenge.Acting out in anger. Envy, Unthankfulness, Bitterness. Resentfullness. Disobedient. Unkind. Hateful. Haughty. Entitled. And most of all a lack of empathy for others. Christ overcame these and other character defects that that prevent us from living on earth as it is in heaven. None of these traits will be allowed in Heaven. So if you would be so kind as to tune in and listen as we discover the straight and narrow path that God the Father requires we travel. Let's use our navigation device called the bible and set the destination for Heaven.
Isaiah chapters 1-39 are introductory of Words of Judgment that God sent to His people concerning their disobedient sinfilled lives. 1.) The Sins of Israel and Judah 2.) Judgment against heathen naitons 3.) God's purpose is judgment 4.) Jerusalem's true and false hopes 5.) Events during the reign of Hezekiah
This week we close out he last half of lesson 2, Judgment against heathen nations. Isaiah 21-23, which started from chapter 13 and ends with chapter 23. We believe that the writings of this time was done while Hezekiah was king. These chapters 13-23 are about the nations around Judah.
Isaiah warned judah not to ally with Egypt. He knew that trusting anything or anyone other than God for help would be a waste of time.

1 Peter 2:8-10 (KJV)
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
The second census of the Israelites is done in this chapter. In verses 64 and 65, it says:
"Not one person on this list had been among those listed in the previous registration taken by Moses and Aaron in the wilderness of Sinai. For the Lord had said of them, "They will all die in the wilderness." Not one of them survived except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
The first census represented a generation that could have gone into the Promised Land but refused to walk in faith. God still accomplished His will but with a whole new generation that had a new mindset.
