America has advanced in many ways concerning the issue of race. Slavery was a legal institution that America must continue to recognize. Slavery was abolished in America but the issue of race never went away. The civil rights movement sought to bring a end to discrimination and equality. The movement had great success but many lives were lost. The presidency of Barack Obama is something many in this country black or white thought would never happen. Many felt racism was over with once he stepped in office. I wish that were the case but racism have gotten worse in 2014. We are seeing things happen today that we thought we got past. We seen the response to George Zimmerman and how it tore the country apart. The shooting of Mike Brown by Darren Wilson have created another divide. Police are doing clearly racist acts and when blacks speak up it's a problem. Why can't we move past racism? We have so many issues to deal with as a people yet the problems of the 1800's won't go away.

REAL REVOLUTIONARY RADIO..................CHOCOLATE SITY THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Shane Krauser, your host of Liberty Storm, takes on the issues of the day and talks about awakening the younger generation to the truth and the older generation to their obligations to stand. Shane addresses the following issues:
1. Our young people want to hear the truth. Will we give it to them?
2. Mount Holyoke College has further amplified their discrimination policy, and the Constitution protects them. Will those same people protect the freedom of others to discriminate?
3. Kroger, one of the nation's largest supermarket chains, is under fire for its gun policy. Moms Demand Action doesn't quite understand the reality of violence, and they have confused the issue entirely.

On this episode of the ::ANSWERS:: show, we discuss "Racism in the Media."
The media plays a critical role as a major institution in society. Primarily speaking, their goal is to provide the masses with definitions about who we are as a people while reinforcing our values and norms. They give us concrete examples of what happens to those who transgress these norms; and most importantly, they perpetuate certain ways of seeing the world and peoples within that world. This immeasurable amount of power to shape how we think is both a gift and most certainly a curse.
The media is arguably responsible for the negative image it portrays of people of color. Have you ever noticed how the media portrays a person of color convicted of a crime versus a white person? Well, we have and we're going to talk about it.
Thank you for tuning in! Be share to like our page and share our podcasts.

Websters – “Plague” – troublesome, fatal disease.
Causes: Media, Politics (Democrats mostly), Witnesses-biased and not reliable about 75% of the time, “Rednecks” of all colors and mostly Race hustlers/baiters- Al and Jessie, etc .
Normal Americans, who are in the majority, are not the problem. And we are the answer. We have to realize that we are the majority and act like it. We all must and should believe in ourselves and who we are. WE ARE NOT the sharptons and the jacksons.
What needs to be discussed is not what we know has been going on for too many years, but how to start combatting racism.
I have some thoughts on this and would like to discuss them “live’ On Sister Thunder Radio.
