What differentiation strategy must we enact to be recognized in an competitive economy of new product and service entrants, buyer fickleness and confusion, dominant suppliers, impostors, and direct business rivals? That is our focus on this edition of, “The Strategist Radio LIVE."

"How to Stand Out from the Crowd" (Jory Fisher & Julie Fleming)

    in Entrepreneur

Does your business have a lot of competition? If so, that’s good news, because it means there’s plenty of demand for the kind of product or service you offer. It also means you have to find a way to stand out from the crowd of your competitors, to distinguish what’s unique about you so your ideal clients and customers will identify you as the right solution to their needs. When you share a point of view or other distinctive factor through your business, you’ll become memorable, attractive to those who resonate with your perspective, and appealing as a content generator or media guest.

In today’s show, Jory and Julie discuss why differentiation matters, what kinds of differentiators are effective, and how you can find the skills, experience, and attributes that will set you apart from others who also serve your audience. We’ll share examples of differentiators that you might adapt and make your own, and we’ll share a useful framework for highlighting what makes you stand out from the crowd while respecting your own boundaries as a business owner.

Julie A. Fleming, principal of Lex Innova Consulting, helps lawyers and other service professionals to create and implement innovative business development plans. She is the author of three books as well as numerous articles on topics such as business development, practice management, work/life balance, and leadership development. CAUSALITY OR MORALITY = WHAT IS THE CAUSES MORALITY

    in Religion

Causality (also referred to as causation is the relation between an event (the cause) and a second event (the effect), where the second event is understood as a physical consequence of the first.

In common usage, causality is also the relation between a set of factors (causes) and a phenomenon (the effect). Anything that affects an effect is a factor of that effect. A direct factor is a factor that affects an effect directly, that is, without any intervening factors. (Intervening factors are sometimes called "intermediate factors".) The connection between a cause(s) and an effect in this way can also be referred to as a causal nexus.

Morality (from the Latin moralitas "manner, character, proper behavior") is the differentiation of intentions, decisions, and actions between those that are good or right and those that are bad or wrong.  Morality can be a body of standards or principles derived from a code of conduct from a particular philosophy, religion or culture, or it can derive from a standard that a person believes should be universal.[1] Morality may also be specifically synonymous with "goodness" or "rightness."

    Why On Earth

    in The Bible

In the end we will come to know ourselves, and who we were created to be, within that great trip back into the Light Fantastic, so to speak, that begins with the colors divided apart and ends with the colors reunited once again in His Light, and then we will also know that the trip only seems to have had a beginning and an ending, a birth and a death; when in fact, this story and the sense of time it portrays are only shifts in perspective between the timelessness of the Light, and the birth into, and experience of the differentiation of color.

Many ask, why are we here; for what purpose must we undergo this life of pain.......perhaps, my friends, this is why.

    Ethics: Your Brand Differentiation Force

    in Entrepreneur

"Compassion, in which all ethics must take root, can only attain its full breadth and depth if it embraces all living creatures and does not limit itself to mankind." Albert Schweitzer

As entrepreneurs, we have witnessed far too many companies work diligently for years to build great success only to lose it all in a matter of a few moments.

If French Nobel Prize winning author, journalist and philosopher, Camus put it right, human beings, through their own consciousness, create their own values and determine a meaning to their life.

This meaning begins with our personal fundamentals, values and ethics. This is the foundation for a solid brand and reputation in the business space. If you want your brand to be respected, taken seriously, referred and enjoy long term success, deeply embedded business ethics must be your priority. In fact, your moral compass must remain set to how your business ethically functions and collaborates with its distinct target audience and beyond. That is our focus on this edition of, “The Strategist Radio LIVE.”

Bob Mahowald - The Grand Adventure - AGENCY 2020!

    in Business

One of the commonalities in today’s insurance agency system is an obsession with “differentiation.”  This is the talk of most agents and agencies.  Yet when you observe the walk of each, more often than not, most agencies represent the same carriers, offer the same products, provide the same value added services, belong to the same trade associations and even use the same agency management systems.   This reminds me of Henry Ford’s promise of “having whatever color car you like as long as it’s black."

Today’s guest is Bob Mahowald.  I introduced myself to him moments after he had been selected for the Purple Cow award by his peers.  As the name suggests members of the Beyond Insurance Global Network or just that – they are “beyond the traditional delivery system.”  Bob was a newly acknowledged leader in this group of innovators.

Today’s conversation will provide Bob the time and the venue to share his and his agency’s preparation for the grand adventure we call – AGENCY 2020!
