Bobby Baker's practice focus is on providing strategic and regulatory advice to private companies and local governments, with an emphasis on energy, transportation and technology issues. In addition, Mr. Baker handles appellate and mediation matters.
Mr. Baker was first elected to the Public Service Commission in 1992 and was the first Republican to win a statewide election for a Georgia constitutional office since Reconstruction. As Commissioner, Mr. Baker worked aggressively to develop competitive markets for utility and technology services, and to reduce the regulatory burden on businesses. He was elected to a third six-year term in November 2004, but did not seek re-election in 2010, deciding instead to return to private practice.
Mr. Baker grew up in DeKalb County and attended DeKalb County public schools. He graduated from Oglethorpe University with honors and received his law degree from the University of Georgia. After law school, Mr. Baker joined the Southeastern Legal Foundation, a regional conservative public interest law firm and then practiced with a private law firm in Gwinnett County. Mr. Baker has been recognized on numerous occasions by both Georgia Trend Magazine and the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the city and state's most influential leaders. He has served on the board of directors for the Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT) and as Vice-Chairman of the Gwinnett County Planning Commission (1990-1994). He also is the recipient of the Talmage Award from Oglethorpe University in honor of his distinguished professional career in public service.

We will discuss our individual responsibility for the great commission. Just because you are in a Church that does soul winning, if you don't participate, you are not performing the responsibility of every Christain and that is to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples. This is literally a sign that you believe. You share all other good news about yourself and your family, so why do you not share the best news that anyone can have, that Jesus, the Word, became flesh and lived amoug us, that He died for our sins and rose again to intercede for us so that we can live with Him for eternity. THATS GOOD NEWS....SHARE IT TODAY WITH SOMEONE YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH LIKE IT MIGHT BE THEIR LAST CHANCE BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE!

Our Lady of Sorrows: “When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, ‘Woman, behold, your son.’ Then to the disciple, ‘Behold, your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.” John 19:26-27
As the Apostles before them, Sts. Pope Cornelius and Bishop Cyprian received the great commission to take the gospel to to all the nations, giving their lives for the service of those in their care. Their legacy today is remembered in the same Church they so strongly defended.
Kim was one of several thousand Christians who were executed during this time. In 1846, at the age of 25, he was tortured and beheaded near Seoul on the Han River. His last words were:
“"This is my last hour of life, listen to me attentively: if I have held communication with foreigners, it has been for my religion and for my God. It is for Him that I die. My immortal life is on the point of beginning. Become Christians if you wish to be happy after death, because God has eternal chastisements in store for those who have refused to know Him."
