Sit back and find yourself being educated by the great mind of David Lee.
Our roundtable discussion will debate the tithing question. With David Lee, Ron Robey , , Ron Mosby.
This is also an open discussion, if you have questions or comments please call in at 914-338-1638
Our guest today is author and minister of the Gospel, David Lee Former church member and friend of TD Jakes. When David found out the tithing teaching was not true and tithing was never money, he wrote a book, Sunday Morning Stick-up, and he was abused and threatened with arrest if he would not leave a "church" service at TD's place there in Texas.
Now what are they afraid of?? Every one has a bible-are they afraid people will actually read it?? Sounds like the "Prosperity Mafia" in action.
Remember the "Catholic Church" killed people as they tried to surpress the publication of the bible, they too were afraid that people would read God's word for themselves and put them out of business.
My guest today is David Lee author of "Sunday Morning Stickup."
Is tithing a new testament principle?
Is giving money an act of worship?
Is tithing money?
Is it a lie?
Ex-Mormon Bishop Earl Erskine interviews former Mormon Bishop Lee Baker on his TV Program: Ex Mormon Files: Journeys from Mormonism to Jesus Christ. They talk about their experiences as Mormon Bishops in Hawaii. Reasons why they left Mormonism include Joseph Smith's false Boasting: “I have more to boast of than ever any man had…A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I.…”—Joseph Smith, May 26, 1844, History of the Church, vol 6, pp. 408-409 and Smith's polygamy and polyandry - “For although a man may have many revelations, and have power to do many mighty works, yet if he boasts in his own strength, and sets at naught the counsels of God, and follows after the dictates of his own will and carnal desires, he must fall and incur the vengeance of a just God upon him.”—Doctrine and Covenants 3:4 For more information see: http://4mormon.org/why-did-joseph-smith-die-so-young/ Connect with us at: www.LeeBaker.4mormon.org
