As a regular contributor to Good Morning America, a sought-after speaker and a best-selling author, Tory Johnson can certainly consider herself to be a success in life. But it was a single conversation that forced her to face the one challenge that has plagued her for years: her weight. In her beautifully written account, THE SHIFT: How I Finally Lost Weight and Discovered a Happier Life, she writes of the profoundly personal choice she made to change this.
Join us as Tory shares the intimate story of her weight struggle, new ways of eating and how our thoughts directly link to the number we see on the scale. For any of you who have ever struggled with your weight, you will want to catch this show for sure!

Emaximus is an deep , lyrical, unique MC from East Oakland, CA. Music has always been in his blood line from his mother singing in the church choir to his late grandmother singing in nightclubs. He's been a part of the hip hop lifestyle since he was four years old; starting out as a beat boxer at a young age while his brother and family friends participated in neighborhood ciphers. Emaximus taught his self how to rap with his cousin Teflon (Tysyn Jones) by stealing his brothers’ instrumentals. As time progressed, he went from High School to High school and finally graduated from Skyline high school with the goal to get into the rap game. His focus was recording music and getting behind the scenes and learning all aspects of the music business; from marketing, production, and to running an entertainment company. He continued to record music with his neighborhood friends and family that never was released but had the opportunity to get behind the scenes when he partnered with Sean Kennedy, the owner of ILL TRENDZ Productions, which was a marketing and advertising company in the San Francisco Bay Area.
