Héctor Camacho Jr. (born September 20, 1978) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer residing in the United States. He is the son of the late three-time world champion Héctor "Macho" Camacho. In 2009, he won the World Boxing Council (WBC) Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE) Light Middleweight title.

El director Héctor Libré dialogó con Tiempo Argentino sobre los sacrificios que deben hacer sus estudiantes para transformarse en los futuros campeones y la necesidad de adaptar los requisitos de peso a los nuevos tiempos.

La pasión por el turf, o por el caballo y punto, no se extingue en los corazones de mucha gente, aun en tiempos en que el deporte equino ya no es tan famoso como lo era en los años '40, cuando competía en popularidad con el fútbol. "El mundo del turf, y el de esta escuela en especial, es una gran familia. Por ponerte un ejemplo, los jockey consagrados ayudan mucho a los chicos que están aprendiendo, por ejemplo poniendo dinero para que todos tengan obra social, por eso me parece una injusticia que el mundo del turf a veces se lo juzgue con injusticia." El que habla es Héctor Libré, actual director de la Escuela de Jockeys Aprendices del Jockey Club Argentino, que funciona en el Hipódromo de San Isidro, y cuya trayectoria y calidad la vuelven una de las mejores a nivel mundial.

Victor Jiménez was born on April 15, 1965 in Havana, Cuba. He recently published his first poetry book titled Siete Ciudades. His work has been published in a variety of magazines, including Nagari, Baquiana and Sub-Urbano.
Victor’s accomplishments are vast, he is a Television Producer, Film Producer and founder of the three-day DocMiami International Film Festival and Docs in Motion.
The creation of the first International Documentary Film Festival of Miami was the brainchild of former President and Founder Víctor Jiménez, a Promax Gold World Award Winner.
He presently works with the Creative Center of Telemundo Network / NBC Universal.
This poet dreams about another life, a life possible of telling stories in a different way. Through his hands sacred trees flutter, water snakes, fabulous myths and fascinating legends, mythological heroes and gods for every occasion. His hands are stunned by so much beauty. His children, his family, the animals, love, the sea, books and good films are the reasons to create and be better.
"Inside me there is still a flicker of hope for a better world," Victor assures.
Host Deardra Shuler talks with Latin artist Willie Colón whose musical talent,passion for humanity and community as well as political activism is well known. Colón still holds the all time record for sales. His collaboration with Ruben Blades, "Siembra", is the biggest selling album of all time for this genre. His collaboration with Hector LaVoe was the milestone that spread this fusion of tropical/urban music throughout Latin America. He has also won 11 Grammy nominations, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Grammy, fifteen gold and five platinum records, and has collaborated with such musical greats as the Fania All Stars, Héctor LaVoe, Rubén Blades, David Byrne, and Celia Cruz.
He has been a visiting professor and lecturer at many prestigious colleges and universities. Colón is involved in civil rights and is a community and political activist. He's Chair of the Association of Hispanic Arts, a member of the Latino Commission on AIDS, a member of the board of the United Nations Immigrant Foundation, Pres. of the Arthur Schomburg Coalition for a Better New York, member of the Bd of Directors, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, et al. In 2010, he scored with his hit Estar lejos.
