Work Life Balance is not a trend, it's a lifestyle - Deb Crowe
As the CEO of a successful medical case management practice for 23 years, Deb recognized the growing need for further supports for professionals and families dealing with catastrophic illnesses and the need for stress management. Leading with this new vision, I have evolved into a Work Life Balance Specialist and I've created a model for revitalization, stress management and leadership success.
A very special young boy that Deb had provided medical case management for a number of years named her “Mama Deb” after his third neurosurgery. As I sat in the recovery room with his mother, it truly was an ‘aha’ moment for Deb and she pondered that one day I would use "Mama Deb" for good purposes in a truly pay-it-forward way. Mama Deb was brought to the world in March 2013 and has not looked back. Through coaching, mentoring, speaking engagements, blogging and being true to who she was meant to be, the feeling of being and knowing you're in the right place is quite calming. It absolutely feels right says Deb.
Deb provides coaching to women, men and couples and absolutely enjoys working with companies (small to large) to assist with their EAP programs to reduce and eliminate short-term disability claims and get balance back to employees and be the mediator between the employer and employee.
Deb's ultimate goal is to get ahead of the curve and educate employers about the importance of work life balance so that employees do not become so stressed, receive a medical diagnosis and go off work on short-term disability. She is ready to shift a culture with respect to work life balance.
Deb lives in Canada and works with clients across the globe. She is knowny by many as the 'go to' for work life balance. Her website is www.mamadeb.com.

Today's guest is Amazon best-selling author Liz Crowe whose latest book is "Family Love."
Mom of three, Realtor, beer blogger, brewery marketing expert, and soccer fan, Liz Crowe is a Kentucky native and graduate of the University of Louisville currently living in Ann Arbor.
Her early forays into the publishing world led to a groundbreaking fiction hybrid, “Romance. Worth the Risk,” which has gained thousands of fans and followers interested less in the “HEA” and more in the “WHA” (“What Happens After?”).
With stories set in the not-so-common worlds of breweries, on the soccer pitch, in successful real estate offices and at times in exotic locales like Istanbul, Turkey, her books are unique and told with a fresh voice. The Liz Crowe backlist has something for any reader seeking complex storylines with humor and complete casts of characters that will delight, frustrate and linger in the imagination long after the book is finished.

She understands transformation and skillfully brings people to the core of their issues, guiding their return to wholeness and balance.

When Jeanie was a young girl, everyone knew she was different. When she got into school, the labeling began. She had so many learning disabilities and physical differences she stood out. She had dyslexia, she couldn’t talk very well, she was legally blind, by the eighth grade she was six feet tall, she was a cancer survivor, and the list goes on. She was told she would never amount to much. She remembers sitting in the classroom with her parents and her teachers listening to the discussion about her dismal future. Jeanie and her parents had different ideas. Delbert and Martha, Jeanie’s parents, did not spend so much time, money, emotional stress battling childhood cancer with her just to give up now. They knew she would find a way. When Jeanie got into high school she decided she was not going to let someone else tell her how her future would go. She sought out the tools that helped her graduate high school then she went on to college. She was the first in her family to graduate from a four year university.
