You can have the finer things in life. This requires a discerning mind and the mental model of an investor. Consumerism is defined as the aquisition of goods and services in ever-greater amounts. While this drives the economy, this behavior shifts our lives, our relationships and our environment seriously out of balance. Our aim is to acquire an investor's perspective which insists on quality, an equilibrium, and long term gain for all stockholders. Join Nicole as she shares her strategies, systems, and smarts on how to move from consumer to connoisseur.

The Celtics had just gotten by the toughest 2 games of their March schedule the last time the Celtics Talk Crew was on the air. Since that show the Celtics Schedule has started to lighten up a bit. Since the last show the Celtics have gone on a 3 game road trip facing 2 playoff contending teams in the Pelicans and Heat and facing one lottery bound team in the Orlando Magic. The Celtics also faced the 2nd best team in the western conference which is the Memphis Grizzlies. The Celtics went into their game with the Pelicans this past Friday 2.5 games behind the Heat for the 7th seed and 2 games back of the Hornets for the 8th seed. Over the last week the Celtics as well as the Hornets, Heat and the other 3 teams involved in the battle for the 7th and 8th seeds which are the Nets, Pistons and Pacers were all playing games either against each other or against some of the better teams in the NBA. So there was plenty of oppurtunity for movement in the standings. So did the Celtics move at all? If they did was it up or down? Jamey Burke a Celtics fanatic, kicks connoisseur, and a RedsArmy contributor will join the crew discuss the last week in the Celtics schedule.
Monday Night On Jump Right In with Splash ......
One of my favorite business books is titled Ready, Fire, Aim, by Michael Masterson. The book discusses the 4 stages of a successful business's life cycle. The first stage, of course, is the most harrowing as most businesses fail in the first 6 months. One of the biggest internal obstacles to launching a business is the belief that you need ALL your ducks in a row, before you even test your product's or services's viability.
You do need to line up some ducks ..... the necessary ducks ..... but requiring every single duck to be in place before you make a move can prove to be paralyzing.
This is the problem I see with the new Elmo majority in Congress. The Elmos passed the XL Pipeline Bill, but then came the DHS bill and the Elmo's insistence that it contain riders to limit the president's executive orders on immigration. Suddenly, this one extra duck has got the whole line of ducks confused, bottle-necked, paralized.
As it relates to 2016, The Keystone Bill and the DHS bill are a perfect contrast between the right road to the White House and the wrong one for the Elmos.
Also on tonight's show, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, is a wine connoisseur..... I love her even more now.
Now that our combat efforts in Afghanistan are over we will be stepping up our efforts in ..... Afghanistan? Thangs that make ya go hmmmmmm.
And we have to talk about Yemen. In his Purchase of the Union address, the president, as you know, held Yemen up as an example of how his counter-terrorism strategy is working ..... then Yemen fell apart. That's a problem.
All this and more on this episode of Jump Right In!
