Homophobia - LGBTQ - SCOTUS got confused

    in Politics

Hr1  Xander Gibb, self-proclaimed Queen of ALL NY Media, weighs in on the latest Supreme Court ruling making same-sex marriage the law of the land. He says his stance on gay marriage has reclassified him as a "homophobe" even though he himself is openly gay. Go figure!

Xander questions, if LGBT's want to attain rights, why do they want to trample on others' rights in the process? And if this really is all about love, let's extend that a little bit to people who don't agree with us. Forcing someone (like a church or a bakery) to do something they don't want to do is called slavery.

Hr2  Ramadan is supposed to be a time of peace and reflection for Muslims. ISIS is not your average Muslim. ISIS says this year it will be a "time of calamity" for the infidels.

Law professor, Frank Buckley discusses the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) ruling making gay marriage legal. He says expect to see an increase in litigation around religious freedom for churches. Even if you like today's ruling, you should be concerned about the precedence it sets for future courts taking latitudes.

Hr3  Leave it to Jesse Watters to try to talk politics at a pot expo! What'd you expect? GADS!

Dr. Saqib Qureshi talks about how self-identity affects all aspects of our life and our culture.

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

Confused Branding Is Costing You Money - Mom Biz Solutions Show

    in Entrepreneur

I've had the pleasure of serving as a judge for a small business contest recently and wow--I have learned so much! There are many inspiring success stories--entrepreneurs who have taken a great idea, turned it into a business model, turned that into a profit, and had the tenacity to persevere through the ups and downs until that happened. On the other hand, there are brilliant, innovative entrepreneurs who may have the best thing on the market, but their branding is simply repelling customers rather than attracting them. On today's show, I'll explain the trouble with confused branding and give tips on how to fix it.

Do you have Change confused with Enlightenment?

    in Spirituality

There's a lot of talk about the possibility of changing something in our lives. Some people seem to think change has something to do with Enlightenment. They talk as if change has a global impact making it Enlightenment.

Yet, change can only be the beginning. Change opens a possibility whereby we can create a new behavior. And most of the time it is a habit we are changing.

We've noticed this with different groups even, proclaiming that if one can make a change somehow this is epiphionic and even spiritual and will change the world.

We need to welcome an opening to change but let's look at the Universal Principles of balance, resonance, and centering so we can enter the realm of change with wisdom awareness.

Do Consciousness evolution and self-improvement changes qualify as enlightenement per se? Or is that a generalization presenting its own issues that it will prevent you from having clarity and clear understanding you deserve. Besides, you need to be clear about what you need to know in laying your ax to the root of what needs changing?

Does overstatement lead you down a primrose path of feeling good about changes that are not as grand as you are hoping they are being?

    Cross-Dressing: A Confused Society

    in Lifestyle

Cross-dressing is the act of wearing items of clothing and other accessories commonly associated with the opposite gender within a particular society.  Cross-dressing has been used for purposes of disguise, comfort, and as a literary trope in modern times and throughout history.

Nearly every human society throughout history has expected distinctions to be made between males and females by the style, color, or type of clothing they are expected to wear, and most societies have had a set of social norms, views, guidelines, or even laws defining what type of clothing is appropriate for each gender.

With social media we have the ability to view variables of cross dressing from men wearing women’s clothing, wigs/weaves, and even the bold and outlandish application of cosmetic make-up.

On this episode of Hot Topics Talk Radio, we’re going to examine and discuss what many have dared to speak about… Cross-Dressing and how society views those who choose to dress and present themselves as the opposite sex.

    THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:

Western music is not to be confused with Country music. Western music is a form of American folk music composed by and about the people who settled and worked throughout the Western United States and Western Canada. The Mexican folk music of the American Southwest also influenced the development of this genre.  With the Traditional Western being a genre of various arts, such as comics, fiction, film, games, radio, television and music, getting "westerns" published and in the hands of fans can also be confusing and a challenge to understand. Tonight we learn about today's contemporary western music and about how today's publishing experts get the western genre to market.
