COMPLAINING (Discontent, Griping, Whining)
Why do we complain?
BIBLE READING: Exodus 16:1-10
KEY BIBLE VERSE: In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. (Exodus 16:2, niv)
Complaining can become a habitual response to stress. It happened again. As the Israelites encountered danger, shortages, and inconvenience, they complained bitterly and longed to be back in Egypt. But as always, God provided for their needs. Difficult circumstances often lead to stress, and complaining is a natural response. The Israelites didn’t really want to be back in Egypt; they just wanted life to get a little easier.
Why do we as human beings complain about things in life; that we have ultimately have control of? Whether it's dealing with finances to relationships; people always tend to complain about the difficult issues or challenges in life. I believe we all have the ability to change any situation that we're not happy with, or comfortable in...All we have to do is be honest with ourselves, take evaluation and quit making excuses and do something about it.

Whether it’s our jobs, financial situation, relationship status or family issues… We’ve ALL been guilty of unnecessary COMPLAINING. “Between Brothers” on “The Dedan Tolbert Show” returns LIVE tonight at 9:00pm EST to take an in depth look at the Book of Numbers and discuss how God viewed and punished the Israelites for complaining, being ungrateful and unappreciative of their blessings. To hear Minister Oshal High and I dissect what the Word says about the importance of being joyful at all times because things could always be worse, listen LIVE by calling 646 200 0366 or online worldwide at www.dedantolbertshow.com... “REAL Radio that Matters”.
This show will allow callers to call in and share their gripes and complaints. I make many YouTube videos that rub people the wrong way. I wanted to give them the opportunity get things off their chest. The first show did so well that people kept emailing me to do another one. So we will try to do this once a month from now on.
Do you remember "The Grumble Song"? It's all about people who like to grumble. They thrive on it. They seek out excuses to do it. They love complaining. Sadly, it describes a lot of people--including some Christians. But is that the life God would have for us? Join Dr. Marx as he discusses a life of grumbling and what the Bible has to say about it.
Communicating with parents can be stressful and fraught with opportunities for misunderstanding. Very often ministry leaders complain that parents of children and teens with special needs are hesitant to open up about their child’s diagnosis. This is most likely because of prior experiences that taught them to carefully guard information. But still the ministry leader is faced with exactly how to extract information from caregivers and parents.
Katie Wetherbee, from Hope for Learning, writes eloquently and passionately about communication with parents on her blog Diving for Pearls. Listen in as Katie gives us tips and tools for communication that builds trust.

They will travel together across America, finding work along their route for their gas and food; performing comedy at every opportunity, while meeting and inspiring other people to rediscover their own dreams and documenting it all for broadcast.
Welcome to the Seriouside of the jril show. This morning we will discussing the following topics:
MR PRESIDENT, CAN WE HAVE A MINUTE OF YOUR TIME?
Democrats on the hill are starting to complain in the front of the microphones something that they had complained about for years behind the microphones, more time with the president.
SEE YA ON THE GOLF COURSE?
President Obama has come under fire for what some GOP leaders are saying “being on vacation during a national crisis”. Do they have a legitimate complaint or is this just another bogus attack from the right?
O.D.I.M. (OH DAMN, ITS MONDAY)
Michael Brown will be laid to rest on Monday, August 24th. Will there be calm, violence or what?
Simply put, out country has become a country about emotions. Most decisions are based on emotions and the dependence on who will stir it up the most. Since most people only complain, then those that get out there and display their "feelings" are usually the winners.
Changing minds every day of the week!
Some people say that all relationships, marriage, and love are “Hard Work,” but the work you put in can be rewarding when it’s done right. Others say that love, relationships, and marriage would never be labeled as “Hard Work” if people actually entered into these for the long haul, meaning that you’re signing up to stick together through good times and bad times so when the bad times come you don’t complain or bail. But, how you label the “Work” you put into relationships may have more to do with the person you’re with and how compatible the two of you are when it comes to problem solving, respect, and admiration, etc. Then again, maybe part of the “Hard Work” is less about the partnership and more about resolving issues of each individual so both people can heal, i.e. finding your collective cohesiveness.
Everyone enters relationships wounded in some way and the “Hard Work” may be humbling yourself to admit to flaws and do the “Work” to tackle difficult issues and challenges, making yourself a better partner for your mate. From this perspective, the "Hard Work” you do on yourself, benefits your mate and your relationship in a deeper sense. These are just a few ideas and We Want to Hear From You about how you find your relationships, marriage, and love to be “Hard Work,” if you do find them to be “Hard Work”?
