Everlasting Gospel Compared to Doctrines of Apostate Christianity

    in Current Events

RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS: SOME CONCRETE MEANINGS. The everlasting gospel made known in the last days is nothing more nor less than the ancient religion restored. It is the commencement of the "restitution of all things, spoken of by all the holy prophets since the world was." It is the bringing back of ancient, eternal principles, whereby men can know God as they knew him formerly; not a vague fantasy, not a simple form, but a living reality. Its doctrines, its ordinances, its principles, its priesthood are from above, revealed from the heavens, and yet strictly in conformity with all former revelations. It has not been, it cannot be successfully controverted, either in its divine authenticity, its doctrines, ordinances, or priesthood. It is adapted to the wants of the human family, to the world morally, socially, religiously and politically. It is not a sickly, sentimental, effeminate plaything; not a ghostly, spiritual, sing-song, ethereal dream, but a living, sober, matter-of-fact reality adapted to body and spirit, to earth and heaven, to time and eternity. It enters into all the ramifications of life. It does not adapt itself to the philosophy, politics, creeds, and opinions of men, but fashions them in its divine mold. It cannot be twisted into the multitudinous latitudinarian principles of a degenerate world; but lifts all that are in the world, who will be subject to its precepts, to its own ennobling, exalted and dignified standard. It searches all truth, and grasps at all intelligence. It is the revealed living and abiding will of God to man; a connection between the heavens and the earth. It is nature, philosophy, heavens and earth, time and eternity united. It is the philosophy of the heavens and the earth, of God, and angels, and saints.

Fatherless children and the impact of not having one

    in Culture

children from fatherless homes are more likely to be poor, become involved in drug and alcohol abuse, drop out of school, and suffer from health and emotional problems. Boys are more likely to become involved in crime, and girls are more likely to become pregnant as teens.

    – Children in father-absent homes are almost four times more likely to be poor. In 2011, 12 percent of children in married-couple families were living in poverty, compared to 44 percent of children in mother-only families.

There is significantly more drug use among children who do not live with their mother and father.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services states, “Fatherless children are at a dramatically greater risk of drug and alcohol abuse.”

Data from three waves of the Fragile Families Study (N= 2,111) was used to examine the prevalence and effects of mothers’ relationship changes between birth and age 3 on their children’s well being. Children born to single mothers show higher levels of aggressive behavior than children born to married mothers. Living in a single-mother household is equivalent to experiencing 5.25 partnership transitions.

Children in grades 7-12 who have lived with at least one biological parent, youth that experienced divorce, separation, or nonFather involvement in schools is associated with the higher likelihood of a student getting mostly A’s. This was true for fathers in biological parent families, for stepfathers, and for fathers heading single-parent families.union birth reported lower grade point averages than those who have always lived with both biological parents.

THE TEST COMES BEFORE THE TESTIMONY

    in Relationships

We will be discussing the importance of understanding that everything that we are going through has already been predestined by God. He knows that we will travail in our relations with others. This is our test, and we must go through the trials of being able to understand that it can only become our testimony when we have persevered, been delivered, and repented, and unlike Lot's wife, desire never to look back with any reservation of what God has brought us through, but to instead move forward with our testimony of healing and deliverance from the evil that had once been our mantra, and therefore operating in love and helping others through our testimony. God's intent for allowing us to go through the magnitude of trials is to increase our faith, and orchestrate His Divine Purpose in our lives. It is only through going through the test that many of us now can have a testimony of the victory of how sufficient God's grace and mercy is, even in our rebelliousness, stubbornness, and ignorance. We all fall down, But God, we all get up! And through the fire of our test, we are pruned, and made into God's likeness on the inside, to fit the image of who He created us to be, and that is a man or woman who is Christlike.

    ROMANS 8:18 KJV

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

    ROMANS 8:18-21 MSG

That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens.

God's Focus is the Kingdom; What is the Kingdom of God Compared To Pt. 5

    in Religion

Matthew 21:33-45 Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey. [34] When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit. [35] The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third. [36] Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. [37] Last of all, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said. [38] But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’ [39] So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. [40] Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?”

    God’s Framework for End-Time Prophecy

    in Christianity

How should we view prophecy? Can it provide spiritual benefits? The apostle Peter mentioned that prophecy should serve to strengthen our hope and faith in the future. He said: “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts …” (2 Peter 1:19).Here Peter compared Bible prophecies to a light that provides visibility until the final coming of God’s Kingdom, brought by Jesus Christ to earth. When this occurs every eye will see His glory as if it is a great light (Matthew 24:27, 30; Revelation 1:7).
