Another week has passed, and Penn State basketball still only has one loss. This week on the BSD Basketbro Show, Bill DiFilippo and Chad Markulics are joined by Sam Cooper of Yahoo! Sports. The guys discuss the team's wins over Virginia Tech and Marshall, preview next week's games against Duquesne and George Washington, and answer a burning question that was posed by the CBS Sports Network announce team: if Penn State makes it through the rest of the non-conference schedule without a loss, will Pat Chambers' squad be ranked? All of that and more in the latest episode of the best damn Penn State basketball podcast on the Internet.
The Eagles jumped back into the win column last week, and their 5-3 record has them on the cusp of bowl eligibility for the second straight year.
It's onto Virginia Tech.
On Saturday, a very dangerous and possibly desperate Hokies team will host the Eagles in a rivalry that's bordered on bitter through their recent history. It was during last season when we realized how good BC could be in a victory at home against this team. Now BC has a chance to claim bowl eligibility against its longtime rival.
There's much to love about this matchup. Both teams have played very well, but both teams are flawed and have lost games they probably could have or should have won. The Hokies are trying to avoid losing a third straight game and a second consecutive game at home, all while playing in the wide open ACC Coastal Division.
Tune in at 8 PM or call in at 646-200-0446 as Dan and AJ talk Hokies with guests, you, and more!
