Rarely do we see and hear the youth perspective on why they have become so violent. A TV Special will air 10:00pm Tuesday, March 22 called "NOISEY Chicago" examining rapper Chief Keef and others who have emerged from Chicago's streets, responding to the desperation of poverty and despair. This video, produced by some of Chicago's young activists, does more than re-state the problem: it brings into perspective the reality created by a society that is hostile toward African American youth, and the struggle they must wage for mere survival in an atmosphere of never ending violence.

Hales Franciscan all boys High School provides the model of education many parents would like to see for their sons. Morals, ethics, self discipline, self respect, academic excellence, career goals. But for some families, the cost of this private Catholic institution is simply more than their budget can handle. So the alumni and the board of Hales created a fundraiser "Laughing and Loving in Chicago" in which eight comedians will perform their best comedy routines before a live audience, bringing the spirit of joy and laughter to Chicago. This event, spearheaded by 1967 Hales alumni Jerome P. Barney, will be taped for television and rebroadcast as a comedy series. Find out how you can get tickets to this made for TV event, and help parents who are striving to send their sons to an outstanding educational institution. Our guest today is Attorney Jerome P. Violence is our biggest issue as cowards are quick to pick up the gun. The pigs continously murder us while those living around us sit in windows watching rallies taking place yet they do nothing. The economy is so poor in the ghettos drug sales seems to be the major career choice while our representatives only show up to calls of peace and resistance for checks.
