    Part - 1: TRUTH Therapy!

    in Prayer

On our journey through the workbook entitled, "Learning to tell myself the truth," this show answers several questions about our internal monologue.  What is an internal monologue you ask?  A fancy way to say self-talk or the conversations that run through our minds. Why is this important? Well because, "We feel the way we think," and if you have been feeling a certain way lately listen to the show as we discuss what truth therapy is and if it really works?"

Book reference: Learning to tell myself the truth by William Backus.  A 6-week guide to freedom from Anger, Anxiety, Depression, and Perfectionism.

    NHA & Core Attachment Therapy

    in Education

Our guest for March will be Dorothy Derapelian.  We are so excited to add her to our line-up of guests for 2015.

Dorothy has been in private practice since 1986. She obtained my Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 1976 and her Master of Education from the University of New Hampshire in 1986. She specializes in play therapy and has worked with many children in the foster care system. While working with these children, it became apparent that their emotional needs are extremely important to help them move forward with their greatness.

To do so, she began creating Core Attachment Therapy© in the early 2000’s and became an advanced trainer for NHA® in 2007. She also conduct home studies for Child and Family Services for families interested in domestic and international adoptions. But most importantly, Dorothy is an adoptive mother. Adopting a lovely girl from Russia at the age of 6. She is currently 25 years old and is an example of walking in greatness.

We hope you'll join us for another inspiring program.

The Benefits of Heated Stone Therapy

    in Training

"It has been compared that 1 stroke with the hot stones is equivalent to 10 Swedish massage strokes.  Thus Hot Stone Therapy is calculated to be ten times deeper, take ten times less effort, last ten times longer and increase the therapist's practice by ten times"

Isn't that incredible?  Join Melissa Corbit and I as we discuss why our clients flock to this service over and over, and how our personal longevity as a care professional can benefit when we learn how to put heated stone therapy into practice.
