Weekly live webcast/podcast devoted to discussion of news and politics from the perspective of Ayn Rand's philosophy, Objectivism. Hosted by Amy Peikoff.
Tonight's show will begin with an interview with Brittney Fay Rivera, Director of Development for The Undercurrent. We'll discuss the upcoming student conference, the importance of outreach and coalition-building, as well as common misconceptions about Objectivism that she has come across in her role with The Undercurrent. Afterwards, I'll be joined again by cartoonist Bosch Fawstin and we'll discuss some of the events of the week and more.
NOTE: A little over an hour into the show our audio link to the studio was irreparably cut off. We tried to reconnect a few different ways, multiple times, but to no avail. So, once you hear the Vivaldi music in the recorded podcast, you can stop listening, rest assured that there's nothing more of substance. We eventually gave up after about 10 minutes of trying to reconnect. Next show will be in two weeks due to The Undercurrent Conference next weekend. (I see, above, that BTR may have stopped recording after an hour and 4 minutes or so.)
We are the West,LA-based alt rocks and just plain fun band seen in secret underground concerts. The band is three people who somehow manage to sound like an entire orchestra. They play rock and alt rock, and maybe country, and maybe new age but whatever they play, they play it in storm drains and shipping containers, sheep farms and in abandoned convents and who knows where else. And everything they play is absolutely wonderful. As a plus, they sometimes play their great music at a concert series they host in the underground parking garage of an office building the Saturday before each full moon.Regardless of where they play we are joined today by John Kibler, Brett Hool, the founders of We Are the West.
Britany Brochard, beautiful voice behind the Jonny Californio Project.. BRITTNEY BOCHARD IS KNOWN IN THE LA MUSIC AND TV COMMUNITY FOR HER EXCELLENT SONG WRITING, BUT HER FANS FOR POP SONGS, VIDEOS AND HER STUNNING BEAUTY. THE WOMAN WHO MOUNTED THE STAGE THAT NIGHT AND INTRODUCED HERSELF NOT AT BRITTNEY BOUCHARD, BUT AS THE JONNY CALIFORNIA BAND, WAS NOT THERE TO DISPLAY BEAUTY – STUNNING OR OTHERWISE ; SHE WAS THERE TO BLOW US AWAY WITH UNBELIEVABLE MUSIC AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID. I STILL CAN’T GET THE FIRST SONG OF THE SET, VOLCANO, OUT OF MY HEAD. FORTUNATELY, I DON’T HAVE TO BECAUSE I CAN STREAM IT FROM REVERBNATION, ALONG WITH THE SONGS FROM HER NEW EP, I WILL BE YOURS. AND EVEN BETTER , SHE IS HERE WITH US RIGHT NOW.

Britany Bouchard is known in the L.A. music and TV community for excellent songwriting. But her fans know her for pop songs, videos, and stunning beauty. However, in some circles, including many clubs these days, she is known as the Jonny California Project, a band that does great rock thta is unique and addictive. The music isn't out there yet - none of Jonny California's songs have been relased, but we have one we can play for you today, and we have the woman herself, Brittney Bouchard to tell us all about it.
Tonights show we ft LadyKeyz (great new artist) and a few of her friends. This is a nce dance mix that is so club friendly. What I really like about this type of music is that it is so club friendly. LadyKeyz really shines as the new kid on deck with the Rihannas, Brittney's, Iggy's and Jlo's. That lets you know that she's on her way. So sit back and enjoy this mix and we'll see you at the club. Remember here at GetAtMe, #WeLoveTheHitSon
