Our Own Voices Live is a radio show featuring people and stories from our community in Las Vegas, the surrounding area and some place near you. America is the greatest country on earth due to its cultural diversity and not in spite of it. Our mission is to help bridge the cultural and ethnic divide in America by working together to build the greatest bridge in history to unite us
The RNC and Ted Cruz have their wooing of the delegates and talk of Contested Convention to take delegates' support from Donald Trump. The Democrats have their Superdelegates to tilt the balance in Hillary Clinton's favor to stave off Bernie Sanders. Is this Democracy? Are the two parties and the Political Class showing their disdain for the American voter?
Bards Logic welcomes Green Party U.S. Senate candidate Joe Demare to discuss his campaign, the problems with the two-party system, and taking our vote back from the Political Class.
Our Guest: Joe is someone who understands that it's time for things to change. For too long, the wealthiest people and corporations have been in control of this country, and they have been putting into place laws and policies that benefit them, while hurting the majority of Americans. It's time that changed.
Joe is not a member of the 1%. As a machine operator in an industrial ceramics factory, he has to work hard, but still has to budget every dollar to get through each month.
As the father of two young men in their 20's, he's someone who sees the challenges young people face today, trying to find good jobs that pay well. As a husband of thirty years, he understands the economic and social forces that are tearing families apart.
As a Green, he understands that the best way to create a sustainable future is by getting involved in the political process, but not falling for the corporate and money traps that have so distorted our government. That's why he will not accept any campaign contributions from corporations or corporate PAC's.

KB and THE REVOLUTIONARY RYDERS take to the airwaves with theiy minds on the money and the money on their minds. One of the biggest issues in Black America today is the economic improprieties that we face. The fact that our median income is half of our white counterparts is a major factor in the deterioration of our communities. The fact that tha black dollar is not recycled in our community is also a problem. The fact that other cultures have come into our communities and set up businesses that we support and make sucessful is also a major problem. The buck stops here, if we dont start our own busineses and boycott those that dont support the black agenda we our doomed. Its time to stop being customers and start being proprietors. The biggest part of the new Black progressive movement is economic freedom and empowerment. Join us as we have a grown folks conversation.
