Born Case Woodard, R&B star Case inherited his musical gifts from his father who was once a member of 70’s funk band Cameo. The oldest sibling of 3, the New York native grew up in a strict household and although music was the bond that tied him and his father together, it would also tear them apart.
Case’s solo career took off in 1996 with the release of "Touch Me, Tease Me" (with rapper Foxy Brown and R&B singer Mary J. Blige) from The Nutty Professor soundtrack, going gold and reaching #4 on the R&B charts and #63 on the Hot 100. His self-titled debut Case soon followed along with the minor R&B hit singles "More to Love" and "I Gotcha." Case followed the success of his first album with the release of Personal Conversation in 1999.

Karen Romano Young was frequently wet during her early years. Despite not actually having webbed feet, she spent much of her nonschool time up to her knees in the Atlantic, Long Island Sound, or the Mill River in her hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut. Although Karen had little formal science education before high school, she learned on her feet, and has continued to do so through a career that includes scientific research expeditions, writing, and illustrating.
Karen has dived to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in a tiny submarine, crunched through Arctic ice in an icebreaker, and visited labs, museum workshops, and research institutions across the U.S. in order to write and draw about science -- especially ocean science. She is the author of nearly 30 books for children, has illustrated several of these, and is the creator of Humanimal Doodles, a science comic for kids. Her fiction work includes the award-winning novel The Beetle and Me and the celebrated graphic novel Doodlebug.
Karen’s recent work includes Humanimal Doodle-style picture books for Harper Big Cat, such as Watching Whales, and Stuck in the Middle (Of Middle School), a sequel to Doodlebug. Right now she’s working on the photo shoot of a new National Geographic.

DC REAL TALK LIVE RADIO SHOW – THIS SATURDAY MORNING (JULY 12TH) FROM 8:00AM TO 10:00AM. (EST) TOPIC: "CASE STUDY OF A BROKEN MAN” – Many of us watched the television show “THE TEST” when Jay who has 33 children by 17 women was a guest along with 3 of the mothers, his 25 year old daughter, and Jay’s mother. As I watched this show I felt many different emotions and I would like to discuss them with you LIVE on radio this morning. Let’s do a case study on a man when he is broken and the results of it. Mostly importantly let’s talk about the remedy, let’s talk about redemption. Maybe it will help us to better understand our men and our children’s father.

There are many rank and file Republicans who believe President Obama should be impeached. They point to what they believe are numerous impeachable offenses, including the most serious charge; a deliberate failure to "faithfully execute" the laws of the United States.
Democrats and the press ridicule the notion of impeachment, saying that the very high bar set by the Founders to remove a president has not been met.
Aside from the notion that impeachment is impracticable, is it time for a serious discussion about reversing the election of 2012 and removing President Obama from office?
This week's epsiode of the RINO Hour of Power will feature Washingtin insider Bridget Johnson and IDB editorial writer Monica Showalter. The panel will examine issues raised by the impeachment debate and ask whether there is actually a serious case to be made for it.
The show will stream live from 8:00 - 9:00 PM Eastern time. A podcast will be available shortly after the end of the show.
Tonight the "It's Real Talk Radio" crew will be discussing a very interesting/debatable topic: "Do Best Friends Make Good Lovers?" There are so many things to factor in when it comes to best friends taking it to the next level and it's probably safe to say most of us have either tried a relationship or at least thought about trying a relationship with our best friend before, but did it work? Are you still together? If it didn't work, what went wrong? Did it impact your friendship and are you still friends today?
These questions and more will be addressed (from our perspective) on tonight's show, so if you have experienced this topic or maybe have a crush on your best friend and don't know how to come out and tell them (or don't know if you should risk taking it there), definitely tune in and feel free to call in to share your opinion or experience with us.
Also we have the debut of our newest co-host Kcee. It's going down tonight y'all and as usual we hold no punches; make sure you tune in! Our call in # is 347-838-9540, and remember to press 1 if you have a question or comment for the hosts; otherwise, continue to hold and listen to the live broadcast.
