Well Armed Radio - Sunday April 24, 2016

    in Politics

Join Wisconsin Carry, Inc. President and host of Well Armed Radio, Nik Clark for another LIVE broadcast of Wisconsin's premier 2nd Amendment/freedom minded/capitalism embracing radio program.  Where we don't just talk about guns, but capitalism and freedom.  Show will air LIVE at 7pm Central time on Sunday.   Tune in, Call in, BE WELL ARMED!

Well Armed Radio...  Because knowledge is your best defense, but a good back-up never hurts.

    Topics this week:

We will be devoting virtually the entire show to a point-by-point response to Senator Van Wanggaard's official response to an update I sent out regarding SB589 and why it died last session.

In addition to a revealing look at the School Grounds Carry issue itself, Senator Wangaard's official response, I believe, demonstrates PRECISELY what is wrong with legislators today. Its a revealing look into the lack of ownership of their (legislators) actions.  It demonstrates excuse-making and passing-the-buck.  It shows how legislators govern by poll, not principle.  It shows how out-of-touch they are with their core constuency.  And it shows the stark contrast between how supposedly "pro-gun" legislators campaign, and how they legislate.

Beyond the gun issue, the facts and circumstances of the "School Grounds Carry" bill offer a revealing insight into so many other issues where good law-abiding "pro-freedom" smaller-government citizens get a snow-job from legislators who refuse to legislate on many issues like they campaigned on those issues.

    "A Season for Self-care"

While the Holiday season is a joyous time for many, it can also be extremely difficult for some, particularly those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.  Financial, relationship, and family stressors can also trigger feelings of loneliness and isolation.  The stimulation of the season makes it imperative that we find spaces for self-care.

Ep 141: Andrea Hanson on Managing Stress and Living Well with Multiple Sclerosis

    in Books

Join Dr. Angela Lauria of The Author Incubator interview author Andrea Hanson on the writing and publishing of her book, Live Your Life, Not Your Diagnosis: How to Manage Stress and Live Well with Multiple Sclerosis.

Andrea didn't realize how fast she would breeze through the writing of her book. In her mind's eye, she already saw it finished from the cover to the contents. The writing simply flowed out from her since she already had the background and experience in helping clients with multiple sclerosis (MS) manage stress and live a better life. She simply translated what she did in her own experience and in her coaching which truly made a difference in people living with MS. The book uplevels herself and her professional work with others. "My head was held higher," she said of having a book to support her work.
