Deepertruth: Follow Us With Mother Mary As She Appeared in the Philippines 1985

    in Religion

'What I am telling you now was told tome by many of these same soldiers who were ready to fire on the people.' Reclining again, he continued. 'The tanks were trying to penetrate the crowd. And the people were praying and showing their rosaries. That is when, according to these soldiers, the Marines who were riding on top of the tanks, the so-called Loyalists (to Marcos), they saw up in the clouds the form of the cross. The many sisters had tried to stop them, but they (the soldiers) told me they had already decided to obey instruction and push through. It is now just a question of ten minutes or so. You push the trigger and there you are -- everybody will be dead.' Again, the Cardinal leaned forward. 'Then, a beautiful lady appeared to them. I don't know if she appeared in the sky or was standing down on the ground. (Others would later tell me they thought she was a nun, dressed in blue, and that she was standing in front of the tanks.) So beautiful she was, and her eyes were sparkling. And the beautiful lady spoke to them like this: 'Dear soldiers, stop! Do not proceed! Do not harm my children! And when they heard that, the soldiers put down everything. They came down from the tanks and they joined the people. So, that was the end of the Loyalists.' Cardinal Sin paused, turning his hands upward. 'I don't know who these soldiers are. All I know is that they came here crying to me. They did not tell me that is was the Virgin. They told me only that it was beautiful sister. But you know,' he paused, laughing heartily, 'I have seen all the sisters in Manila, and there are no beautiful ones. So it must have been the Virgin!'

Founding Fathers Appeared in St. George Temple Requesting Baptism

    in Religion

The Founding Fathers Appeared in the St. George Temple Requesting Baptism of Wilford Woodruff:

The temple work for the fifty-six signers of the Declaration of Independence and other Founding Fathers has been done. All these appeared to Wilford Woodruff when he was president of the St. George Temple. President George Washington was ordained a high priest at that time. You will also be interested to know that, according to Wilford Woodruff's journal, John Wesley, Benjamin Franklin, and Christopher Columbus were also ordained high priests at that time. When one casts doubt about the character of these noble sons of God, I believe he or she will have to answer to the God of heaven for it. Yes, with Lincoln I say: "To add brightness to the sun or glory to the name of Washington is . . . impossible. Let none attempt it. In solemn awe pronounce the name and in its deathless splendor, leave it shining on." (Ezra Taft Benson, The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson , p.604)

I will here say, before closing, that two weeks before I left St. George, the spirits of the dead gathered around me, wanting to know why we did not redeem them. Said they, "You have had the use of the Endowment House for a number of years, and yet nothing has ever been done for us. We laid the foundation of the government you now enjoy, and we never apostatized from it, but we remained true to it and were faithful to God." These were the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and they waited on me for two days and two nights. I straightway went into the baptismal font and called upon brother McCallister to baptize me for the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and fifty other eminent men, making one hundred in all, including John Wesley, Columbus, and others; I then baptized him for every President of the United States, except three; and when their cause is just, somebody will do the work for them. Wilford Woodruff; JD19, p.230)

"At the same time," says Yah, the Lord. I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people."  Thus says Yah, the Lord:  The people who survived the sword...........Found grace in the wilderness--Israel, when I went to give him rest."  Yah, the Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.  Again, I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel!

The Race Trim MotorSports Hour #18

    in Sports

Start your Sunday NASCAR race day the right way . . . with the guys in the Frat House Sports Garage giving you all the latest news and chat and taking calls before green flag today at Bristol Motor Speedway.

    (1) It seems the penalties for messing with the tires of the #31 have, for the most part, been upheld against Richard Childress Racing and Ryan Newman. (2) Kyle Busch seems to have shed his bad-boy “Rowdy” persona as he appeared before the media and provided his timetable for return. (3) Jimmie Johnson got his second win of the season at Texas Motor Speedway, but Martin Truex Jr. might just be the next winner as he nailed-down his seventh Top-10 in seven races! (4) David Ragan has been more than a suitable replacement for Kyle Busch keeping the Joe Gibbs Racing #18 in the #10 spot in the standings. So, why would JGR consider going to Erik Jones?

This week it’s time to go short-tracking and “Bristol Stomping” at The Bullring of Bristol Motor Speedway and THAT always poses its own special hazards.

Uncle Mark is going Over the Wall; Sidekick’s got his Fantasy picks; and the rest of the guys are jumping in with their Eat-My-Dust Picks!

As usual, they got the coffee going . . . YOU bring the donuts . . . and your comments to the Frat House Sports Garage . . . by giving them a call at 347 - 826 - 9964!

Lewis Hamilton, Vettel, Rosberg Lineup After F1 Qualifying Bahrain

    in News

It was a fascinating day in Bahrain during Formula One Qualifying. Mercedes champion and current master of the universe in Formula One, Lewis Hamilton did not disappoint as he easily cruised into pole position.  In four races, Hamilton has been on pole four times for a total of 42, which places him 4th on all times list of pole sitters.

Following Hamilton was Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg, Kimi Raikkonen, and Valtteri Bottas. Two top drivers will dominate the front row on race day and fans will be in for a blockbuster.  Bottas Williams-Martini teammate Felipe Massa qualified 6th and Red Bull Daniel Ricciardo 7th.  Carlos Sainz Jr. with Toro Rosso and Romain Grosjean with Lotus were, 9th and 10th respectively.

As we last reported, the thorn in the side of the powerful Mercedes team will be, and is, the new and improved Ferrari team with former Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.

Sahara Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg qualified 8th and Sergio Perez 11th.  Unfortunately for the McLaren-Honda team, Fernando Alonso made a gallant effort but was held at 14th, and Jenson Button’s car appeared to have some electrical issues preventing him from making it into Q3.  Red Bull Daniil Kvyat rolled into a sand trap at P3 and failed to make it past Q1.
