Inspiration on Tap: Living and Thriving with Rustie MacDonald
Rustie Macdonald was born knowing that she wanted to help others to heal, to grow and to thrive. Her life story is a zigzag journey of survival, learning, and loving life. Having survived things no child should have to endure, Rustie refused to become bitter. Instead she used her experiences to foster in herself an internal strength, deep compassion and empathy for her fellow man in all circumstances. As a veteran of the foster care system, she became an advocate for other foster children, seeking a way to create opportunities for education and a better life. She founded Celiac Roads Life coaching to help community groups and individuals move beyond their perceived limits to thrive far beyond what they believed possible for themselves. Rustie is a gifted motivational speaker, with a down to earth, practical style.
In 2011, Rustie realized she could help a far wider audience by reaching out over the airwaves. She discovered blog radio and “Living and Thriving with Rustie MacDonald” was born. Every week Rustie brings inspiration to thousands with guest speakers bringing insight for Mind, body and soul. Her international audience numbers in the thousands and is growing every week.
Look for her new book “Having Tea with My Skeletons” coming this spring.
Rustie lives on the New England seacoast with her beloved Daughter.
Are you ready to make 2015 your best year yet?
Then tune in to Love Liberty & Lip Gloss on Thursday, January 15 when the highly accomplished and inspiring Rustie MacDonald joins the program. A humanitarian, author, life coach, single mom, enterpreneur, and motivational speaker, Rustie will discuss her journey from witness to severe poverty (which inspired her lifelong charitable outreach) to successful author, business-owner, and philanthopist. This multi-talented woman is also a martial arts expert who teaches self-defense to battered women, shows others how to live well with Celiac disease (inspired by her own diagnosis in 2006), and leads entrepreneurs to success through effective online marketing. Additionally, Rustie hosts her own program on Blog Talk Radio entitled Living and Thriving with Rustie.
She is also the author of the new book, Pride & Prejudice: A Relocation Nightmare, a riveting story of a woman who lost faith in the judicial system. Writing this true story, Rustie hoped that this will serve as an inspiration to enable change in law makers. The book offers a new scrutiny in higher standard of conduct and ethics concerning the committee that oversees lawyers, judges and others related to the judicial system.
We hope you'll tune in for a motivational, inspirational, and educational interview with Rustie MacDonald on January 15 at 7 p.m. Eastern!

Andy Stanley talks about OUR APPETITES. Things that can RUIN our life and make us miserable, if we DO NOT control them. Charles Andrew "Andy" Stanley is the senior pastor of North Point Community Church
Andy Stanley says: "I want to talk about the internal tension that all of us carry that’s associated with our
appetites. It’s an internal tension that we carry because we all want MORE. The only
word for the “appetites” in your vocabulary is MORE. When we talk about appetites, we
immediately think about food or hunger, but there are a lot of appetites. There’s food and
sex and….I’m sure there are a lot more. For me, I’m just looking through the lens of a
guy because that’s all I’ve really been, but for you ladies who a trying to figure men out,
they only have three appetites: food, sex and sleep. Just kidding. God has designed us in
such a way that we are really just a big bundle of appetites and desires. And appetites also
include security, and appetite for love, an appetite to be respected, to be cherished, to feel
successful...All these things God designed us with, but each one of our appetites creates
tension. The reason you feel tension in your life, is because one or more of your appetites
are clamoring for MORE.
1. All of us in leadership have an appetite for progress. We want to see our churches
or companies move forward.
2. We have an appetite for greater responsibility. You probably wish you had more
responsibility, but here’s the interesting thing. Every time you get more
responsibility in your organization, what do you want? MORE!
3. We want respect-recognition for what we’ve accomplished.

Pastor Andy Stanley is the son of Baptist Pastor Charles Stanley. Andy has a style of teaching very different from his Dad.
We all know what's required to fall in love. A pulse. Falling in love is easy. But staying there? That's something else entirely. With more than 1,500 matchmaker organizations in the United States, finding someone is easier than ever, but staying together seems to get more difficult every day. So. . . is it possible for two people to fall in love and actually stay there? Absolutely.
