We've got all the cool stuff you need -- right here!
For example, Lockheed is moving ahead with its airship.
Jeff Bezos has introduced a fully reusable rocket
And it works! Does this mean that Blue Origin is pulling ahead of SpaceX?
Since space exploration is happening, it's a good thing we're working out property rights in space.
But then how big a deal will space be when we have programmable matter?
And get we get these cool things faster via time travel? (Which may or may not be right around the corner.)
In any case, we should value it all for the experience.

STONE MOUNTAIN MEMORIAL
Vernon Dalhart (1883 – 1948) born Marion Try Slaughter, was a popular American singer and songwriter of the early decades of the 20th century. He is a major influence in the field of country music. He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970, into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1981 and into the Gennett Records Walk of Fame in 2007
USS Shenandoah was the first of four United States Navy rigid airship. It was built in 1922–1923 at Lakehurst Naval Air Station, and first flew in September 1923. And made the first crossing of North America by airship. USS Shenandoah crashed on land (and thus be suitable as a tourist attraction). On September 3, 1925, it was ordered to conduct an ill-advised publicity tour of Midwestern state fairs. Less than 24 hours into its flight "the strongest airship in the world" was caught in a thunderstorm, torn to pieces, and scattered across the rolling hills of Noble County in southeastern Ohio.
Stone Mountain Memorial Craving
The largest high relief sculpture in the world, the Confederate Memorial Carving, depicts three Confederate heroes of the Civil War, President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson.

ENVISION THIS: A society where the Golden Rule--both for our neighbors and for our environment--is the guiding principle
Our guest, Daniel Geery, states his guiding philosophy at his candidate website during an unsuccessful run for congress against Orin Hatch in Utah: “Treat your neighbors as you’d want to be treated; help the less fortunate; forgive others; educate youth in a well-rounded curriculum; live in harmony with Nature and within our means; encourage recognition that we are one species on one planet, with many differences but also with the same ultimate fate; push for kindness and fairness as globally accepted norms. Recognize that humanity, not money, is what we are ultimately working for.” Why did he lose? How can he/we win?
Daniel walks his talk…all of it. Come, listen to a true progressive visionary, one who has campaigned on his principles; gotten fired as a tenured, acclaimed teacher for speaking up to authority; written editorials for OpEd news and a coming-of-age novel; lived off the grid; and invented an upward gliding airship. Let’s hear how Daniel Geery visualizes a more humane and resilient culture.
The Falcon Project is a large scale observation and research operation founded by William Barnes. William envisioned an operation that would allow for both the observation and tracking of an elusive animal he first encountered in 1997. There are hundreds of reports every year from people who claimed to have also encountered the same elusive animal, an animal most commonly referred to as sasquatch.
Sasquatch, also known as Bigfoot, is the name given to an elusive, and as yet unrecognized hominoid species, that primarily inhabits the moist forests and bottoms of North America. They are usually described as being large, hairy, bipedal humanoids. The word sasquatch is an anglicized derivative of the Halkomelem word sásq’ets, meaning the “wild man of the woods.”
In the summer of 1997, William had a close encounter with a sasquatch when one entered his campsite along the South Fork of the Greenhorn River in Nevada County, California. The details of his encounter can be found on the Falcon project website. Because of this experience, William first began to conceptualize what would ultimately become The Falcon Project. Through years of correspondence with engineers about airship technology and advances in thermal camera technology, The Falcon Project eventually took shape.
Join Monster X hosts Gunnar Monson and Shane Corson as they discuss preparations for the Falcon Project as the date nears for its launch.
Gunnar and Shane will be joined by project founder, William Allen Barnes as well as Jason Valenti, part of The Falcon Project's management team.
The Falcon Project proposes to conduct an extensive aerial search for an unrecognized North American primate, a.k.a. sasquatch or Bigfoot, by means of an helium-filled airship, upon which a platform supporting thermal-imaging and high resolution wireless videography equipment is mounted.
Join us Tuesday night December 2, 2014 at 9 pm eastern as we welcome back William Barnes to the show! It's been more than a year since we had William on the show and its time for a Falcon Project update. Has there been any progress? We will get an update on the project from William!
Young Adult author Shannon Delany reads from her most recent release, WEATHER WITCH, and talks briefly about the novel that kicks off her steampunk and stormpunk series!
Some fled the Old World to avoid war, and some fled to leave behind magick. Yet even the fiercely regulated New World--with its ranks and emphasis on decorum--cannot staunch the power that wells up in certain people, influencing the weather and calling down storms. Hunted, the Weather Witches are forced to power the rest of the population's ships, as well as theirevery necessityand luxury, in a time when steam power is repressed.
Jordan Astraea hails from a flawless background with no taint of magick, but on her seventeenth birthday she is accused of summoning an unscheduled storm. Taken from her family, Jordan is destined to be enslaved on an airship. But breaking Jordan may prove to be the very thing her carefully constructed society cannot weather.
And losing Jordan forever may force her beau, Rowen, to be the hero he would have never otherwise dared become.

Our German Ancestry
Hosted by: Robert Schlattmann
On May 6, 1937 at 7:25 pm the Hindenburg was docking at the Lakehurst, NJ Naval Air Station when the tragedy occurred. The hydrogen filled airship ignited and was destroyed within 35 seconds. There were 36 fatalities, but surprisingly, 52 managed to survive this disaster. In the 1930s, Germany was reclaiming its rightful position in the world. Recognition and prestige for the German people were both earned and deserved. Could this tragedy have been the result of sabotage? If it was sabotage, then who would do such a thing to so many innocent people? Why would anyone have a grudge against Germany? Indeed, who could possibly have an "axe to grind" over the successes of the German People. We will discuss more details of this tragedy and the suspected sabotage on the show tonight.
