ANATOMY OF OPPRESSION – PART VIII
We supposedly have the inalienable right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but Black and Brown people live now and have always lived under and around arbitrary authority that is white authority. Control of education is an integral part of democratic organization - a very natural and obvious structure. Community Control of police is against the organization of government control from the top down.
An anatomy of oppression requires an ANATOMY OF COLONIALISM. That is a description of the connections that we have which relates to our ability to access money, that is jobs, education, housing and all the other benefits related to this economic system that we live under.
Jim Crow is not dead but alive and well and growing by the minute. The question for our next broadcast is...Do we have the emotional capacity to deal with this reality?
THIS WEEKS EPISODE WILL REVISIT THE BLACK AGENDA REPORTANALYSIS OF THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT within the context of the anatomy of oppression. Ralph Poynter
(1) Special Report from Mary Neal about her national protest initiative against Police Brutality.
(2) Special poetry reading of Mondo Eyen We Langa by Lynne Stewart
(3) In addition, this Tuesday, we will continue our special discussion led by Dick Minnerly and the radio panelists (Larry Pinkney, Lynne Stewart, Joel Meyers and Ralph Poynter) concerning the best form of government and thefundamental principles of proper government based on Mr. Minnerly’s book, "Human Nature."
"Ralph Poynter: What's Happening" episode for Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
Call 347 857 3293, 9pmEST to participate. ANATOMY OF OPPRESSION – PART VII
Jim Crow is not dead but alive and well and growing by the minute. The question for our next broadcast is...Do we have the emotional capacity to deal with this reality? Evidently Not ... YET ANOTHER BLACK YOUTH SHOT BY YET ANOTHER ‘FAKE’ COP. WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH? ~Ralph Poynter
Special report from Mary Neal about her Aug. 3 Rally Against Brutality and Deaths in Custody and For H.R.2646, "Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act."
Special discussion regarding the 100th Anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Haiti. Special Guest Bro Daud from Haiti by way of Brooklyn, NY.
WE WILL CONTINUE our special discussion led by Dick Minnerly and the radio panelists (Larry Pinkney, Lynne Stewart, Joel Meyers and Ralph Poynter) concerning democracy and what it means. Minnerly said, "The term has been dichotomous ... ever since that revolution because, as our dictionaries show, it refers to both a leftist and a rightist view.”
Special poetry reading of Mondo Eyen We Langa by Lynne Stewart
A youth on Twitter sent this tweet: # If I die in police custody, tell my family I loved them. But don't listen to their calls for peace. BURN THIS *** DOWN TO THE GROUND !#
I called the Jay King Show. Wow what an amazing and still frustrating experience. Then I realized how far the Willie Lynch mindset has gotten in the black community, and how it also impacts whites, etc.
Tracey and Cliff discuss the challenges that face the modern Black family. The hosts ask the question are two-parent Black homes extinct? The will discuss myths vs facts pertaining to absentee Black fathers; bread winning Black mothers; and blended families!
Our guest for April 23 at 9pmEST claims being another victim of The (Johnny) Cochran Firm fraud on "Human Rights Demand" channel. Call-in number is 347.857.3293. Mr. Vance alleges the law firm defrauded him and worked behind his back for his defendant, a physician. The cancer survivor hired the deviant Cochran Firm attorneys to file lawsuit against his doctor, who misdiagnosed his condition, causing his cancer to reach stage 3 by the time another doctor checked him two years later. Vance seeks an attorney to file a malpractice lawsuit against his corrupt former attorneys who he feels deliberately threw the fight for justice against his negligent former doctor. This show was originally scheduled for April 6. If you've ever been defrauded by your attorney, especially The Cochran Firm frauds, please join the conversation tonight. We know there are genuine attorneys who hate what unethical frauds are doing to disgrace their profession. Please listen and prepare to help Vance by filing a malpractice case against a law firm that seems to defraud people of color intentionally. Many other lawsuits against The Cochran Firm are listed at the below url.

My mom, Hattie Neal, is 92 now. She and I discussed events from her youth in the 1920's and 30's all the way up to the civil rights movement in the 1960s. We talked about what it was like to grow up in the rural South with her brothers, who went to CC Camp and later migrated North to Detroit. We discussed Tent City in Fayette County, Tennessee, which was a settlement former Black sharecroppers who were evicted by angry white landowners when they registered to vote. At the end of this tape, my mother shares interesting news about a KKK march through our neighborhood that you probably never heard about or imagined.
It was delightful to spend time this evening conversing with Mama instead of making reports about recent brutality and deaths under the color of law that I normally discuss. Alexyss K. Tylor did not broadcast at Human Rights Demand tonight as scheduled, but Mama and I had a grand time. You are invited to play the tape and join us.
