The I'm Sorry Tour is a Women's Empowerment Seminar
This women's empowerment seminar wasn't created to be malicious in any way, and based on the messages I've received, there are so many women who can relate to what we've been through. And even if you haven't been in our exact situation, I'm sure you've been in a situation where forgiving someone was tough to do. I was getting text messages in the middle of the night, as well as, emails from women who are currently hurt as a wife or wifey. Satan has been trying to place fear in my heart b/c it takes a LOT to be open & transparent. It takes a LOT to let the world into your life even for the purpose of helping someone. The attacks have come but I'm still pressing. And if ONE life is changed for the better then I'm all good with that. I finally know what I want on my tombstone. When I die, make sure yall remind my family & friends of this. I want "Agape" inscribed under my name. For those who don't know what that means...it's the unconditional love of God. That's what I want to be remembered for—being an example of Agape.
2 Women and 1 man...would You be able to forgive & forget and bury the hatchet? Can you ever really forgive the other woman. A chance encounter between DiShan and Clarisa will challenge them on agape love.
DiShan Washington and Clarisa Velazquez takes us on the harrowing journey of faith and forgiveness.
Check out tomorrow's interview with Isaiah Washington hosted by Ms. Lawrence the founder of Exposure Magazine and Celebrity Publicist
By Isaiah Washington
Actor and activist Isaiah Washington writes about the Baltimore uprising, his film ‘Blackbird,’ and the issues he finds most troubling with society’s stance on race.
The world associates the word black with bad.
The synonym for white is “good,” while the synonym for black is “bad.”
That is why I say I’m done being black. I’m African American. I have a proud heritage and proud ancestry—not unlike Chinese, Irish, El Salvadorian, English—and that’s not getting promoted. It hurts.
At first look, you may not see the connection between the three pieces of content I want to share with you below: an interview about the Baltimore uprising and Black Lives Matter, the marketing campaign behind my pro-LGBT film Blackbird, and a masterfully crafted op-ed by a black lesbian by the name of Danielle Moodie-Mills.

WE AMERICANS ARE A STRANGE PEOPLE. WE PUT UP WITH A LOT OF "STUFF" AND JUST SHUFFLE ALONG UNTIL A SPARK IS IGNITED WHICH GETS OUR ATTENTION. WITH ALL OF THE LACK OF COMMON SENSE DICTATING POLICY TO US FROM WASHINGTON, THE LACK OF HONESTY AND TRUST OF SO MANY OF OUR POLITICIANS, AND THE REALIZATION THAT AMERICA IS INDEED NOT GETTING BETTER, WE MAY VERY WELL BE AT THAT POINT TODAY.
WE HAVE TWO MAJOR PARTIES WHO BELIEVE THEY CAN JUST DICTATE ALL OF THE TERMS OF LIFE TO US AND THAT WE WILL JUST MEEKLY GO ALONG. BUT WITH THE BLOWBACK PRESENTLY GROWING OVER THE ESTABLISHMENT TELLING US WHO IS BEST, NAMELY ANOTHER CLINTON OR BUSH, THE NATIVES ARE GETTING RESTLESS.
TONIGHT ON SHORT TAKE WILL DISCUSS THE SURPRISE CANDIDATES WHO ALREADY SHOW SIGNS OF SHAKING UP THE NARRATIVE. TWO MEN OF COMPLETE OPPOSITE POLICY VIEWS, BERNIE SANDERS AND DONALD TRUMP ARE INDICATIVE OF AMERICA'S DISPLEASURE WITH "SAME OLD, SAME OLD". CAN THESE TWO TAP IN TO A FEVER WHICH COULD COMPLETELY CHANGE THE WAY OUR NATIONAL POLITICS ARE PLAYED? WE'LL TALK ABOUT IT TONIGHT.
LIKE IT OR NOT, POLITICS DO CONSUME A MAJOR PART OF OUR LIFE THROUGH THE IMPACT IT HAS ON OUR LIFESTYLE, OUR FREEDOMS AND OUR HOPES AND DREAMS. I THINK IT'S TIME TO LOOK AT WHAT COULD BE A SURPRISING CAMPAIGN AHEAD AND IF THE PARTY LEADERS DON'T LIKE IT, THEY HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT THEMSELVES.

As we celebrate this year's G.I. Film Festival we thought we'd share some highlights from previous years. As with every day, World Footprints is proud to pay tribute to our nation’s heroes--our men and women in uniform, and the Hollywood patriots who support them. From the red carpet of the 2011 G.I. Film Festival in Washington DC, we will share our conversations with three award-winning actors: Gary Sinise, William Devane and Lou Diamond Phillips. We also met award-winning filmmaker Rodney Ray and budding filmmaker Chris Loverro. The GI Film Festival is the first film festival in the nation to exclusively celebrate the successes and sacrifices of the service member through the medium of film. Then we’ll chat with actor Sean Kanan who is best known for his role as Deacon Sharpe on The Young and the Restless. Sean joins us to talk about his journey from the mid-west to Hollywood and his travels with the USO.
