THANKSGIVING IS ALWAYS A SPECIAL TIME. FAMILY AND FRIENDS GATHER TOGETHER FOR GOOD FOOD AND GOOD CHEER, USUALLY WITH A SIDE OF FOOTBALL AND A FOLLOWING NAP. BUT IT IS MUCH MORE THAN THAT FOR IT IS ATIME WHEN WE CELEBRATE THE RELATIONSHIP OF AMERICA WITH GOD BY THANKING HIM FOR ALL THAT HE HAS GIVEN US. DESPITE THE HARD TIMES THAT SOME OF US FACE NOW, WE ARE STILL SO MUCH BETTER OFF THAN MOST OF THE WORLD AND WE NEED TO EXPRESS OUR THANKS TO HIM FOR ALL THAT WE HAVE.
ON THIS YEAR'S RADIO CELEBRATION I WILL START A TRADITION OF READING ONE OF GEORGE WASHINGTON'S THANKSGIVING PROCLAMATIONS AS A CENTERPIECE OF THE SHOW. IT IS DONE SO TO SHOW THE CLEAR AND IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE OF AMERICA'S FOUNDERS RECOGNIZING THE CENTRAL PRESENCE OF A LOVING GOD. WE WILL ALSO HAVE SOME SEASONAL CHRISTIAN MUSIC AND A BRIEF PRAYER OF THANKS, AND THEN WE'LL TURN THE CORNER TO THE FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT AND THE BEGINNING OF THE CHRISTMAS SEASON AND WHAT IT REPRESENTS.
I HOPE YOU'LL TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO JOIN ME, NORTH FLORIDA WRITER, AS WE THANK GOD FOR OUR BLESSINGS. SHOULD YOU MISS THE LIVE SHOW ON THANKSGIVING EVE AT 9:30 PM, IT WILL BE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND UPON CONCLUSION ON DEMAND 24/7. LOOKING FORWARD TO IT, FOLKS.
Eric Jacob is an actor and comedian who’s always thinking — and always writing.
An observation in a store, a conversation with a friend, or even a text might spark Eric’s next joke, and once he writes that joke, he can’t wait to share it with an audience.
In 2014 he was told about a comedy competition at a Princeton's "Catch a Rising Star." Eric entered, and won! His victory earned him a spot opening for nationally known comic Bobby Collins. He continued opening for other comics such as Eddie Brill, Sherry Davey, Mike Gafney and Paul Bond.
Since then, the floodgates have opened. Eric shot a pilot in December, called Surviving Sam starring Alicia Minshew (All My Children) and the director liked him so much that they created a web series for him to star in, a prankster show called What’s It Gonna Take that is produced by Plin-Mar Productions and streams on the Silvertree Entertainment platform. He stars with fellow comedian Tommy Gooch.
Eric joins Take 2 Radio on Tuesday, June 9th at 7pm eastern to talk about his career and more! Join us for some laughs!
WE AMERICANS ARE A STRANGE LOT. WHEN WE FACE A CRISIS WE ARE SLOW TO MOBILIZE BUT ONCE WE DO WE CAN ACCOMPLISH AMAZING THINGS. NOW IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES, FOLKS. AMERICA IS ON THE ROPES AND WE CAN'T DEPEND ON ANY POLITICIAN, REPUBLICAN, DEMOCRAT OR INDEPENDENT TO GET THE JOB DONE. NO LONGER CAN WE SPEND OUR SPARE TIME ON THE NFL, HOLLYWOOD OR THE KARDASHIANS. NO, IT'S TIME TO MOBILIZE OUR ENERGY AND OUR TALENT TO SET THE STANDARD FOR THE FUTURE OF AMERICA. POLITICIANS CAN AND WILL DO LITTLE UNLESS WE PROD AND PUSH THEM TO ACTION WHICH DOES WHAT WE WANT IT TO DO. ISN'T SAVING AMERICA WORTH IT?
ON THIS EDITION OF NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE MY REGULAR CONTRIBUTOR MARK COLLIER WILL JOIN ME AS WE TALK ABOUT THE ECONOMY, THE IMPACT OF IMMIGRATION, THE MYTH OF FREE TRADE, OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM AND THE COMMON CORE TRAGEDY, THE MILITARY, OUR SOCIAL ORDER AND OUR MORAL CODE AND MANY OTHER AREAS THAT HAVE PLAYED SUCH A MAJOR PART IN OUR DEVELOPMENT, BOTH GOOD AND BAD. LET'S START A CONVERSATION THAT WILL LEAD TO HER GREATNESS AGAIN. IT'S UP TO US, FOLKS.
THE SHOW GOES LIVE AT 9:00 PM AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND 24/7 SHORTLY THEREAFTER. WE'LL TRY TO TAKE A FEW CALLS DURING THE SECOND HALF HOUR, JUST PLEASE KEEP YOUR COMMENTS BRIEF AND SUBJECT RELATED. HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US.
AT THE 11TH HOUR ON THE 11TH DAY OF THE 11TH MONTH OF 1918, THE WAR TO END ALL WARS ENDED. INITIALLY NAMED ARMISTICE DAY, ITS NAME WAS CHANGED FOLLOWING THE SECOND WORLD WAR, PROVING THAT WE MUST ALWAYS BE VIGILANT TO TYRANNY IN THE WORLD. AS LONG AS EVIL EXISTS ON THIS EARTH, WAR WILL UNFORTUNATELY BE FACED BY MANKIND. ON WEDNESDAY WE HONOR OUR VETERANS OF ALL MILITARY SERVICES, LIVING AND DEAD, WHO SERVED. FROM VALLEY FORGE, TO GETTYSBURG, VERDUN, IWO JIMA, NORMANDY, THE CHOSEN RESERVOIR, HUE, IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN, AMERICANS HAVE DONE WHAT WAS ASKED OF THEM, NO MATTER THE RISK THEY FACED. MANY DIED, MANY MORE WERE WOUNDED, AND THE LUCKY ONES RETURNED INTACT EXCEPT FOR THE HORRIFIC MEMORIES OF WHAT THEY SAW. HONOR THEM, APPRECIATE THEM, AND VOW THAT WE WILL REQUIRE OUR GOVERNMENT TO TAKE CARE OF THEM IN A WAY BEFITTING OF THEIR SACRIFICE. THEY HAVE EARNED WHATEVER IT TAKES.
JOIN US FOR WORDS AND MUSIC AS WE HONOR THEM TUESDAY NIGHT, THE EVE OF VETERANS DAY, ON NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE. THE SHOW WILL START AT 9:30 PM AND BE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND 24/7 UPON COMPLETION. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.

Nicholas Snow welcomes Brandon Deyette who wrote, produced, directed and acts in his latest film, Proxy. Also joining the show, adult film star Charlie Harding who is making his mainstream entertainment debut in Proxy as Tristan.
The film's synopsis? On a Sunday in July, one man’s indiscretion affects eight lives. Josh thinks his only goal is to get back his grandmother’s engagement ring from ex-girlfriend Tess. A casual day gets much more serious for Steve and Tristan once their friend Price leaves for a date. A family secret causes friends Becca and Kari to reveal secrets of their own.
Deyette started producing in 1994, at the legal age of 14 years old. While this seems like a stretch, it was merely a favor from a friend’s father that allowed him to do so. Since then, he’s gone on to work in Broadcast News, produced photo shoots, commercials, theatre, and video; written for and acted in theatre and commercials. Harding began his performance career by playing Charlie Brown on stage in high school. After many years out of the performance arena, he made his adult acting debut for Falcon Studios in February 2012. He has performed in over 25 adult films.
