SORT BY Relevancy
Abortion has always been controversy, fueled with a lot of moral implications at the center of it. It was the historic Roe Vs Wade case, challenging Texan law that criminalized abortion, that the abortion debate came out in the open. The pro- choice movement advocates that a woman should have the right to terminate her pregnancy, considering it involves her physical, mental and financial well being. The pro-life movement, on the other hand brings the moral issues into the picture. They oppose abortion on the principal that any form of life, including the human embryo has the right to life. Look, I think it is impossible to find a middle ground in cases like these, as both sides present valid arguments, supporting their cause. Now our question to you is, are you pro-life OR pro- choice? Call into the playhouse this evening and weigh in on this controversy topic. The queens would love to hear what you have to say! First, we will have the pleasure of going into the world of Low G Muzic, as he talks about his endeavors as an musician.

A PILL FOR ABORTION LANDS WOMAN IN JAIL FOR MURDER
A Georgia woman took pills to end her pregnancy and the prosecutor charged her with murder. Huh? The 23-year old bought the pills on line that caused her to go into labor. She delivered the non-viable fetus on the way to a hospital.
So what are these pills? Can anyone get them? What is the medical abortion as opposed to a surgical one? Is it legal? Can women really be jailed for taking them? Is this common in the rest of the world?
Join us Saturday as Dr. Beverly Winikoff of Gynuity Health Projects joins us to talk about medical abortion and the status of medical abortion around the world. She is a professor of Clinical Population and Family Health at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
We’ll also have Monica Simpson, Executive Director of SisterSong, a Georgia organization that works for reproductive justice among indigenous women and women of color. She has been featured in several publications as an activist and an artist and works in philanthropy and fundraising as well.

Planned Parenthood has been exposed as a seller of the body parts of aborted fetuses, a practice they have apparantly been engaging in for decades and, according to the most recent revelations, has included entire fetuses intact. This raises the even more sinister question of whether Planned Parenthood has been trading in borm babies that were murdered after a botched abortion. Former Planned Parenthood employees have reported that killing the born baby has been standard practice at Planned Parenthood. Another practice has been to prevent the mother from seeing the ultra-sound, required to figure out the position of the fetus to as to carry out a more efficiant abortion, in case the mother bonds with her baby.
History records how conquerors from various periods of time have relocated a conquered nation or peoples. From the children of Israel in biblical times to Native Americans here in the U. S., we have examples of relocation. Most of us would agree that in times of war, the adage, "to the victor goes the spoils" would ring true. So the loser therefore is forced to bow to the dictates and edicts of said conqueror. If the conqueror wishes to relocate, then they must. But in the battles, there is a test of strength and wits, each side going aware of the consequences of failure.
However, in the battle of the womb, the dynamics are much different. It is the will of the mother against the dependence of the child. A child who cannot speak, whose voice cannot be heard. A child dependent completely on said mother for existence. There is no relocation plan. It becomes a question of "Whose Womb is it Anyway?"

Carol Everett is founder and president of The Heidi Group (www.heidigroup.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping girls and women in unplanned pregnancies make positive, life affirming choices. Having had an abortion herself in 1973, Carol is totally familiar with that route and all that it involves on physical, emotional and other levels, in the short and long term. Not only did Carol have an abortion, but, in an attempt to justify her own decision, she became for 6 years a major player in the abortion industry and knows exactly what really happens on the inside of that business, which the public is not shown. If you are faced with a personal decision on abortion or know someone who is, you need this information. Carol has graciously agreed to talk with us in detail about her experiences. She will explain what led her to starting The Heidi Group, and what that organization does for girls and women that need all types of support in their unique situations.
Jim Wright is the president and founder of Birthmothers (Birthmothers Ministries, Inc.). This incredible organization (www.birthmotherministries.org and www.birthmothers.org) is dedicated to helping girls and women who are dealing with issues coming from an unplanned pregnancy. Birthmothers offers a wide array of services. They assign a personal "friend" to join the birth mother throughout her experience, so that no one has to travel that difficult road alone. Jim Wright's vision is to put a birthmothers facility in every community across America, to counter the abortion-for-money business that Planned Parenthood is conducting now, with your personal money funding them through taxes, and which is setting up very young children to produce abortion business in the future.
So they tell me a dentist paid 55,000 to shoot and kill an African lion! The world seems to be in an uproar. This thing brought Jummy Kimmel to tears on the air! You have got to be kidding me? Another dead lion? It too bad for sure but not nearly worth shedding a tear over. If you need something to cry about, cry about the 11,00 black babies where killed in New York at the hands of abortion clinics.
Ferguson burned because of Mike Brown. 11,000 Black babies murdered to the silence of the left and the leftist media.
I am sorry if I can't get all misty over the death of an aging lion.
This episode of Pneumatikos will explore the rise of the ontologic abyss when God is philosophically tossed out by the noetic elite and society. Yes, it is popular to espouse norms and standards that are in vogue with the spirit of the age. However, popularity is a deceitful mistress. It was said long ago that "Often the powers of darkness would win us to betray us in deepest consequence." Without God there is only the selfish and the tiresome subjective to serve. The old lie(human autonomy) has been dressed anew and has deceived many into believing that life can be meaningful without God. For the believing ones life is full of meaning when we are occupied with the person of Jesus and his finished work.
“Right now to give some of us just a perspective of the impact of abortion on demand in the black community, according to the archives of the Tuskegee Institute, from 1882 to 1968 – 86 years – the Ku Klux Klan lynched 3,446 Negroes,” Hoye said. “While it took the Klan 86 years to accomplish this, abortion on demand in America accomplishes that is less than 4 days.”
Hoye's numbers are based on the Guttmacher Institute's FACT SHEET on induced abortion in the United States. That fact feet shows that in 2008, 1.2 million abortions were performed in the U.S. Of those, 432,000 of those abortions were performed on black women. Using those figures, in three days 3,550 black babies were aborted. In four days, the total would be 4,734 aborted black babies.
The data collected on lynchings was compiled by Tuskegee University's Records and Research Division.
Hoye said that over 20 million of the more than 50 million abortions that have taken place since the Supreme Court Roe v. Wade ruling legalized the procedure are performed on black women.
“Since 1973, abortion on demand in black America has taken more lives than homicides, heart disease, diabetes, cancer and HIV/AIDS combined and has become the No. 1 cause of death in the black community,” Hoye said.
“The facts are clear,” he said. “The numbers don’t lie. Abortion on demand is a holocaust.”
Join us as we share Christina Torry's story of the child she thought she aborted.
As the nation marks January as Sanctity of Life Month and thousands gather to march for the unborn, Tina Torry, whose baby survived an abortion, shares her story of how "divine intervention" saved her daughter's life.
It was 1978 when Tina Torry, 17 at the time, became pregnant. Her boyfriend, family, and health care professionals were adamant that she have an abortion – as it was legal at the time, she told The Christian Post.
"I had no moral support to keep the child," she said. "From day one, I was pointed to an abortion clinic. They never said consider adoption."
According to Torry, sitting in the Charleston, S.C., abortion clinic was "unreal." She recalled looking at the women in the waiting room, and one in particular appeared to be at least six months pregnant. It was then that the enormity of the situation dawned on her.
