Mr. Anderson was a senior staff economist at the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) in the Reagan Administration. In this position, he was responsible for administration forecasting and represented the CEA at the working group and sub-Cabinet level about issues relating to the budget, statistics, and defense policy.
