On Wednesday evening July 27th on The Global Voice 6 PM MST, please join me for my interview with Chief Executive Officer, Ruth B. Johnson and Alison Knapp, Founder and Chair of the Roundup River Ranch. The camp is nestled east of Glenwood Canyon along the Colorado River amidst the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The Roundup River Ranch is a camp which enriches the lives of children ages 7-17 years with life threatening diseases and just opened its doors on July 6th!  It is a provisional member of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, an international organization founded by Paul Newman.

I recently had the privilege of touring this amazing facility and was very impressed by the beauty of the camp, the knowledgeable and caring team of staff and volunteers and the joyful atmosphere which permeated the camp!

The camp provides therapeutic recreational activities that include everything from archery and arts and crafts to ropes courses and horseback riding. The camp is free to the campers and their families. There is an exceptional medical staff on board and a great team of counselors and volunteers insuring the kids have both a safe and fun experience during their weeklong stay.
