Our guests today will be George Robertson, Tracey Ballard, and John Wood, representatives and board members for the 'Healing Through Creativity' Art Festival for Survivors of ANY and ALL Trauma. Being held in Institute West Virginia (in the Charleston Area) at the West Virginia State University. If you are a survivor or a supporter of survivors, you don't want to miss this very healing and worthwhile event. Founded by survivor and musician George Robertson in 2006, The goal of 'Healing Through Creativity' is to create community awareness for survivors, including sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, cancer, illness, P.T.S.D., Support for the troops and so much more. It will give an outlet for survivors to display their work, attend workshops and listen to speakers in a friendly environment.
If you are interested in becoming a participant, a presenter or to place your art among the event, 'Healing Through Creativity' welcomes anyone and there is no charge for attending the event.
