Nope, that's not Homer yelling at his kid, that's the sound of those who cherish freedom asking the Bay Area Rapid Transit Authority why they shut off cell phone service recently. Was it really because of feared repercussion against the Transit police for a recent killing, or was there a far more sinister reason for this to have occured. We'll also look at a couple of othernews items that are important to your preparedness planning needs.

We've seen officials across the globe threaten and take similar actions: from dictators trying to cling to power in the Middle East, to Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron, to Joe Lieberman and his Internet Kill Switch legislation.
It's time to draw a line in the sand: Please sign this petition condemning BART, encouraging the Federal Communications Commission to investigate, and warning other public agencies that we won't tolerate censorship.
