Tisa Silver Canady, is the Director, Office of Financial Education and Wellness, for the University of

Maryland, Baltimore.

As a financial educator, author, and volunteer, Canady has worked long and hard to show students

and Maryland residents the value of financial education and help them understand how to protect

themselves in the marketplace. She has also authored the book, "The Time Value of Life, Why Time 

is More Valuable than Money". We chat about her book and her advice for other Higher Education
