Marcel Umphery (investor, coach, mentor and philanthropist) knew

from an early age that business would be his vehicle to change lives.

The vision for his company started as a young child, when both of his

parents instilled leadership and entrepreneurship in him. Due to the

drug epidemic of the 1980's, Baltimore, Maryland and Washington,

DC’s housing markets took heavy hits. The epidemic ultimately resulted

in over 47,000 vacant properties in Baltimore and another 5,000

documented vacant houses in Washington D.C. Experiencing this firsthand,

Marcel made it his mission for his company to change lives one

home at a time
