Student Loan Justice Podcast #2: Laura Pascoe

We speak with Laura Pascoe, who worked in underserved communities for years, yet was kicked out of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program midway through the term.  Laura was left owing far more than when she entered the program, and what began as $129,000 in loans has exploded into a $400,000 debt.  

Mrs. Pascoe's story is not unique, the Department of Education is running their "forgiveness" programs in such a way as to kick as many people out of the program as possible.

Mrs Pascoe's story is one of millions of examples that show the overwhelming necessity for returning standard bankruptcy and other standard consumer protections to ALL student loans.
