Join SBC Radio as we feature Thomas Hamilton, author of "Time for Patriots" and "Useful Star Names." Thomas will discuss his books, what the writing life means for him and how he gets ideas for his books.

"Time for Patriots" is about a physics experiment gone wrong that sends a military academy and some neighbors back to 1770, where they decide to influence the Revolution.  Personages they are involved with include Washington, Franklin, Mozart, and the Bey of Algiers.  The story ends a month after the first Moon landing, in 1926.
 
"Useful Star Names" is based on his four decades of work in the planetarium field and 32 years of college teaching, gives the names of the named features of all 88 constellations.
