The Affordable Care Act was passed by Congress and then signed into law by the President on March 23, 2010.  On June 28, 2012 the Supreme Court rendered a final decision to uphold the health care law.

But is it really affordable?  Or is it an action that places a greater financial burden on individuals who barely have enough to make ends meet in this challenging economy?

Straight Talk's Nickie Vega has provided a thumbnail sketch of some of the challenges she witnesses, at least for New York City in the Straight Talk Cafe's blog.
