A Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, a former Captain in the Air Force after 9 years of service, a flight instructor, a published author, a public speaker, a television personality, an actor of television, stage, and film, a model, and a reality television icon; it’s quickly apparent that Reichen Lehmkuhl is a valuable voice to tell the story of gay life in America. Once out of the Air Force, Reichen wrote and published a book, “Here’s What We’ll Say”, an autobiography that tells the story of his time as a gay cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy, living in secret. The book also serves as an expose of what really happens to LGBT military servicemembers behind the closed doors of the U.S. Armed Forces. The book continues to be a resource for young and old LGBT readers looking into the lives of people overcoming great obstacles. Since winning CBS' Emmy-award winning reality series, The Amazing Race, Reichen has been in the public eye appearing in the Here TV series, “Dante’s Cove”, “Days of Our Lives”, “The Drew Carey Show”, and recently in a new reality series called “A-List: New York”, where he stars as one of six cast members living extrodinary lives in New York City on the Logo Network.
