Examining Psalm 55 we see how a believer can be confident and calm, even in difficult and depressing situations.

Thank God we have records in the Bible of godly individuals struggling with issue that plague us too.

It's vital that we study and meditate on God's Word when our life is full of trouble and our minds are coming unglued.

We must realize, and keep reminding ourselves, that once we embark on the path of true spirituality, everything that happens to us mentally, physically, financially, socially, and metaphysically is -- part of our training.

Deep spirituality means struggling with thoughts, memories, people, and circumstances. Praise God -- our reward is in heaven and cannot be stolen or defiled.

Press onward, upward, and Godward.

Your home is your monastery.
