Sermon 104 "God of Wrath, God of Love"

Some people make up their minds that God is nothing but love. Others decide that God is primarily wrath and is angry at sin, especially sins they don't commit, all the time.

We hear of the Westboro Baptist Church members holding signs that say God hates this or that. Then, on the other extreme, we run into people who think God is only loving, has no anger about anything, and would never send anyone to hell or any kind of excruciating self-examination.

Let's open our Bibles and discover the true God, the only God, who is a God of both wrath and love.

Let's take a close look at the perfect embodiment and manifestation of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Was Jesus only loving, or did He sometimes express anger and go ballistic on anybody?
