Sermon 60 "Apologetics vs Metaphysics"

Worldly people are operationally unable to understand anything about God, the divine, the spiritual realm and its events.

Their heart is dark, they cannot perceive heaven.

Let's examine some of the reasons why seekers can receive truth but scoffers ridicule it.

Apologetics, a pseudo-science if there ever was one, attempts to educate unbelief and convert it to faith with a process of information delivery. 

Yet Jesus commanded us to not cast our pearls just because someone challenges us to cast them, and certainly not give that which is holy to dogs.

We discuss spiritual things with seekers or other spiritually minded people. We don't argue about faith or unbelief or other paths.

There is an emotional cause involved in atheism, an irrational origin that is revealed in God's Word, the communication of immaterialism to a material world.

We have a better way to handle the "prove your faith is not irrational" quarrelsomeness.
